gear pics "open to everyone"?

Ok man, maybe I am trippin but the gear pics forum says open to everyone. I assume you don't need a platinum membership to access this forum. But everytime I try to log in it brings me to the page "For platinum members only". What gives?

if you're refering to the featured sites, i've noticed that too about a month ago.

it doesnt matter anyway, you wont be able to see anything except thumbnails. That really pisses me off.

Yes, I too have noticed this. I assume to view the thumbnails as larger you must buy the platinum membership.

If you guys only knew the legal expenses involved with running these boards you would not be so smug in your comments about "marketing scams" and such. Suffice it to say that all of you non paying member should be kissing the asses of those who do go platinum as well as the sponsors of this site like the AF store. If it was not for them I have a feeling you all would have a lot more to worry about than only being able to see thumbnails.
