No need to be afraid of going overboard. You can't get "too much" protein. I think it's best used in-between meals and pre and post workout.

Agree completely here. Use GEAR throughout the day between meals and pre and post workout to keep a positive nitrogen balance and make sure the protein synthesis keeps going all day long ;)
