So how much water do most of you drink while on cycle? I realize it may be more if on oral to ease stress on the liver and what not, but I usually try and drink a gallonof water and one powerade/gatorade type drink a day but never quite get there regarding the water. My dadgum bladder just can't handle it! Any feedback on what you do or what is the ideal average is appreciated. My cycle will be 250 test e and 400 EQ. Thanks for any feedback.

BUMP

I drink something almost constantly. It's usually powerade, juice, soda, and milk when bulking, the sugars never seem to hurt me that I can tell. When dieting, it's mostly water, crystal light, and atkins milk. It's almost always well over a gallon a day though, and I'm a smaller guy. I have to get up 2-3 times a night to take a leak lol, just like an old man. My gf thinks it's funny as hell :)

water is the only thing i ever drink....no less than a gallon.....hey tux u ever heard or guys drinking a can of soda post workout?

yes a lot of bbers drink coke after workouts on bulkers. arnold used to drink a beer, not that its a good idea. i go for a gallon and a gallon and a half now since its 105 everyday here. but i am with tux, i need to put cyrstal lite into the water to drink that much.

damm...ok....I was wondering If I was the only guy getting up to pee 3 times a night and 5 times a day but oh well. I guess my kidneys are thanking me because after about the second one, my pee looks just like water. I cna usually get about 3/4 of a gallon down and just can't force myself to drink anymore. I'll just quit being a baby I guess. :P

yeah bro you are not alone, i take a piss every fuckin hour of the night. thank god im off winny and i am not soken wet everytime. tren would rip me a new one

Lol, I couldn't resist the call of fina, I just started running some tren yesterday at 100mg/day lol. My tbol should get here any day now and it will start at 50mg/day. Run those for 5-6 weeks, and I'll be insane! Of course, I'll be getting up 4 times a night to piss now, and I'll probably piss my gf off with the night sweats lol. Hopefully not though, I haven't really gotten night sweats from tren after the first time I ran it. Now I just get insomnia, and I've got loads of klonopin and xanax on the way to take care of that!

When "on' I drink at least 2 gallons of water a day. I make sure I have one gallon banged out by noon, then I fill it back up and make sure I finish it again. I'm usually on the road for most of the day and you would be surprised how many F'N gas staions "dont have a bathroom". I'm usually forced to make one behind it. Water is the only liquid I drink.

A gallon spreadout throughout the day. The more water the better i feel and the cleaner my skin gets but sleeping throught the night completly without getting up is almost impossible but that's a good time to swollow a piece of chix or meat etc....

I don't really keep track, just have water with me constantly. I would say 1-2 gallons is reasonable. I too wake up to piss multiple times at night.

1.5 gallons off, 2 gallons or more on. It does suck having to piss every hour or more all night though. Water also is the only thing i drink while dieting.

No it wasn't and you will pay for your insulince.

I might drink a gallon on a good day. I really doubt the benifits of over doing it. I seem to do just fine on a couple of quarts.

Does anybody drink so much water that you get this wierd feeling in your head (kind of headachey, but not bad)? Maybe I'm drinking too much water.

Drinking too much water is worse than not drinking enough!! You can actually drown your brain if you drink too much water. This was proven from the few extasy related deaths. The person, listening to the advice that if you do X you must drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, drank so much water that the kidneys couldn't handle it all and became waterlogged which diluted the blood to such a degree that the brain was starved of blood/oxygen and so thay died!!

2 gallons is a ridiculous amount of water to be drinking for anyone, flame me if you like, but that equates to about 7.5 litres, around 13 pints which is insane! 2 litres is absolutely adequate for anyone to consume on a daily basis regardless of what your putting in your body. Thats my word and I'm sticking by it!

I'm the same way...usually around 2-3 quarts on off days and up to a gallon on workout days/yardwork days when I sweat alot.

Not buying this one........sounds too much like an urban myth to me!!

every night before bed, i fill a gallon jug halfway with water and put it in the freezer somewhat on its side. the next morning i fill it the rest of the way with water and i drink it throughout the day as the ice starts to melt.. this way i can keep up with how much i am drinking and it is always cold.

well, I am going to try to drink 3/4ths of a gallon each day when on, and half a gallon when off. I think that will be ok, especially since my cycle is a low dose of test and some EQ. Thanks for all the replies and anymore to sway to drink more/less

I wouldn't of thought so either but I drink so much water at work that my brain feels waterlogged. I get this wierd pressure on my eyes too. I think there is something to this. I doubt it can be fatal, but I'm feeling like it isn't good to do anymore.

From your description of the problem, I don't think it's the water, I think it's the tar heroin.

just add some crystal light 5 calorie stuff
its real good i can barely drink a half gallon w/o it
the ice tea is the best flavor

OK....so I work with a guy who comes from a family of Dairy Farmers. Of course he is drinking milk all the time, whole milk no less but is a pretty fit guy because of all the hard work he puts in on his days off. We got to talking about milk one day, and he informs me that skim milk averages about 90% water. So it got me to thinking. I usually have 2 protein shakes each day in large 16 oz glasses and I always use fat free milk becuase it tastes SO much better than water. I wonder if this can be included in my water intake for the day. I always averaged about 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon when not on gear. SO, if I continue to drink that same amount of water and can include an additional 32 oz of water, that would help. Just a random thought. All feedback is appreciated.

Sure you can "count it" if it makes you feel better, but you should just be trying to drink as much water as possible.

To the guy who said you can die from drinking too much water, that's actually true. But from a practical standpoint it's not likely to happen. Most of us struggle to hit 2, even 1, gallons/day. You would have to consume that amount in a much shorter period of time for it to ever be fatal.

But anyway Wayne, if you want a concrete number I'd say shoot for at least a gallon every day. It shouldn't be necessary to keep track though. Just have a water bottle with you at all times and keep sipping on it throughout the day.

my work schedule keeps me from getting to sip all the time, and I am out and about , so I have developed what I think works for me as far as water goes. SO, it does come down to helping ease my schedule a little if I can kill 2 birds with one stone there. Not a huge deal but every littel bit helps.

I am only on my second week but I am noticing little things. Mostly I am more "dense" feeling. (insert obvious joke here) :) My chest and back and mostly all upper body just feels thicker. I have some XL shirts that fit perfect that I noticed are slightly snugger around my chest and back. But, the hunger of EQ is kicking in I think and it is making it hard to eat clean. My workouts are starting to show a little improvement, but it is only my second week so that may be mental as well. This is my first cycle here so I am not sure the EQ will work, when it will kick in for me, etc. The best side I have noticed is how that test makes me feel. I feel great all the time, sleep well, and just love it man.

I was drinking "as much water as possible" and it was fuckin me up. Read my other posts on here. I've sinced bagged that theory, and drink in moderation.

funny....in the Pumping Iron movie Arnold said something like this (not quoted). it was not being said infront of the camera but you could hear him talking to another guy

he said something like "Milk is for babies......i don't drink any milk, i drink beer"

2 gallons a day isn't that much for some people.

Hell, when I'm at work for 8 hours I drink a gallon and piss about once an hour.

It's obviously possible to drink too much, and I guess you were. For 99.9999% of the population though, I don't think this would ever be a problem. I'm not saying to sit by the tap all day and keep chugging down a glass every 5 minutes. Most people have lives and as such, getting in 1-2 gallons/day isn't terribly easy. The grand majority of people don't drink enough; clearly you fall on the other end of the spectrum, but you're pretty much alone.

8-10 glasses a day is a reasonable amount for anyone.
If you sweat a lot during a workout, take a drink that has some sodium in it to replace the lost sodium.
Cerebral edema happens very rarely, and only in exceptional circumstances. Boston marathon runner who drank too much water, obviously was sweating a lot, was having symptoms of low sodium, and she thought she was getting dehydrated. Drank even more water and that caused cerebral edema.
Going to extreme is never good.

8-10 glasses is what a normal, sedentary person should consume. A bodybuilder, especially one with a high activity level and on cycle, should be much higher. I think 1-2 gallons is a reasonable range (with more activity leading you closer to the 2 gallon end).

I hate forcing myself to drink water all the time. I probably drink less that a gallon a day, maybe close to that while "on" (even creatine) but usually less. Don't forget the value of uninterrupted sleep. How do you get a good night of rest if you are getting up to piss every hour ?

You may or may not be getting the full effect out of the creatine if you're skimping on the water.

As for sleep, I usually wake up once/night. You can curb your drinking as the day goes on. I don't recommend slamming down 3L of water the hour before you go to sleep.
