1. Of course... the Armband of any kind is played out. It screams... I want to fit in look at my armband!

2. Chinese or Japanese writing if you are not chinese or Japanese. Sorry this does not make you spiritual... just stupid. I wonder if Chinese people get shit written on their bodies in Hebrew or Arabic to seem deep and mysterious.

3. I used to see a lot of Tazmanian Devil's, but that seems to have waned.

Anyone have any others?

I find the arm band attractive, but only if he has the arm to go with it. LOL
 
Superman tattoo's are way played out. So is lower back. I have the chinese symbol for influence on my shoulder. It's cool on me, played out on everyone else though.

Some can look ok, but for the most part they are played out.

I am a little biased... I think 99% of all tatoos look like shit. But some are less ugly than others.

butterflies, frogs, rainbows, dolphins, unicorns, roses, flowers - basically anything my 5yo niece is fascinated with.

lower back tats on women are beyond played out (still good for target practice). I would never marrry a broad that has this, but I find upper arm tattoos, maybe a half sleeve, on chicks so dirty and filthy and sexy and ....fuck, I just did in my pants

Tattoos on older people that got them when it was socially unacceptable = alright.
Tattoos on younger people when it became trendy = the suck
 
i have an arm band, well 2 actually one on top the other. but i didnt get it cause they were trendy, i got it cause i liked the way it looks and i have the arm to go with it... ahem, erzulie......... wink wink.....

and i am adding to it so kiss my ass..... i dont get a tat cause its trendy i get it cause i like it and it fits my personality.

If you ask a person with a tatoo what is stands for and they can tell you then fine, i personnally like tribal stuff. If i get a tatoo its because thats what i want, not to be trendy or fit in, it seems like more and more people are getting them cause they want to be "cool" especially since the tv shows have been on.

I too must cast my vote for the "5 Year Old Girl" division, e.g., fairies, butterflies, unicorns (especially on women over age 40 getting their first tatoo in Las Vegas).

Tribal anything on Caucasion suburbanite teenagers.

oh, disney character tats are rediculously stupid.
I'm not crazy about most tats on women- and although covergrls was sweet and she gets a good mark for originality... my question is... WHY? its on a part of your body that you can't see, so its not reminding you of your mother- its reminding the guy thats banging you from behind.
 
i still stand behind my arm bands. i designed them and im getting my shoulder down to my elbow done which goes through the arm bands. my wife designed that one and my friends brother is doing the ink on my arm.

I have my regimental cap badge on my right bi, from the most senior regiment I was in. I'm thinking of getting my other regimental badge on my left bi.
I'm planning on getting a dragon on my left pec, & around my nip. A dragon, with 2 crystal balls (from which dragons get their power). One ball will have my daughter's initials, & the other, my wife's.
I'm gonna reward my self, when my physique improves a little, in about 3 months.
 
i cant stand tatts on my women, its horrible. everytime i see one, all i can think about is how the hell they snuck into the tattoo studio at age 16. tsk tsk tsk

if i were to get a tattoo, id kill myself before getting any asian characters or a tribal. id probably get a cross the size of my back or something

When I worked the dive charters in S. FL I saw more 'butterflies turned to moths" on chix boobs. Gawd that is skerry.

A cool one I saw was a guy who had the muscle / tendon layout of his bicep tat'd on his inner bicep. Looked like it hurt a lot tho.

I just really haven't had a reason to get a tattoo at this point in my life. If I feel the need for one, I'll go find someone who does henna art.

My uncle has a tatoo of a naked woman on his lower arm with the name 'Sally' underneath it. Unfortunately, my aunt's name is Margaret. :D

I think David Beckham has the worst tatoo. It is his wife's name on his arm written in Hindu (I believe). Too bad it is spelt wrong but then they are not the brightest couple.

If I were to get one I would do what Stephen Wright said and get a full body tatoo of me, only taller.
 
The only tattoo I have ever considered was an American Flag, tribal band on my arm I had a friend of mine draw for me.

Still don't have and tattoos.
 
Probably if I was to get another tatt it would be my star sign which is Virgo, Ive seen a couple of good ones around or a forearm tatt.
 
Some people seem to forget if you are getting a tatoo to please someone else you are getting it for the wrong reason.

I don't give a shit if 1 other person in the world likes any of the Tat's I got, I like em and got them for a reason, in the end its all that matters.

P.S. People do love mine by the way ;)

Lol... There is this 40 year old trainer... must have been going through his mid-life crisis and he got some chinese shit written on his arm. I asked him if it said "I have small calves" to remind him to train them and my other buddy said no, it means "trendy tatoo." The guy looked like he was going to hang himself...lmao.
 
I once saw a tatoo on this dude, it was a hand on the back of his hand. now THAT was geigh. it was just a small, normal looking hand, not bones or anything.
