Ummm... nope. Don't see "gay" there. So I assume you are talking about blacks. And I agree. I don't see many blacks having a strong family. It's a poor argument to say that we shouldn't do something just "because it's always been that way." Well, we had never been to the moon prior to 1969 and it had always been that way, so why bother to try?? Why change things to get there??

There has always been diseases like polio, meningitis, etc & it's "always been that way" so why bother to develop vaccines to help fix it??

Think of a better argument than one person's opinion and "it's always been that way."

As far as gays raising children ---- I am adopted & was fucked over royally & mistreated by two people -- man & woman -- who were married & stayed that way. No one can tell me that a man & a woman can "do a better job" than two loving people......Just because 1) you're married and 2) there are a male parent & a woman parent does not mean that they will automatically do better than 2 people who are loving parents, no matter what their sexuality is.........

A person's sexuality has nothing to do with their parenting skills whatsoever....

The "sanctity of marriage" isn't a legal definition at all, let alone decided by a judge. Marriage is a legal concept, broken only by another legal concept.

Actually, there have been many studies done indicating that being a child brought up in such an environment is not a negative in any way. Care to show this 'proof' you refer to?
