Whatever. I am sorry you got messed around by bad parents. But their have been numerous studies done proving that a man and women both have things to offer a child over same sex couples. I mean don't you think they(gay couples) teach their children to be gay?

No I don't feel that gay parents "teach" their kids to be gay.....being gay or straight is biological IMO......just like you're born being blonde haired, green eyed, black or Spanish or whatever......

I have seen sooooo many divorced, married, etc male/females couples use, abuse & torture their kids against the other parent, blah blah blah....

I refuse to believe that a male & female couple are automatically a better parent.......People are good parents or not, regardless of sex & sexual orientation......

I also don't believe that the biological parent is the better parent either......just cuz you gave birth to the child, does not make you a good/decent parent....

If you're saying a man or a woman can be an equally good or bad parent, I agree. That doesn't mean that the sanctity of marriage should be redefined a the whim of a liberal judge in Massachussetts.

Why not?? When & where was this alleged "sanctity of marriage" created & developed?? The "sanctity" of a lot of things is different now then when it was fist created. The "sanctity" of marriage continually is redefined & redeveloped.

It used to be status quo that a man could beat his wife with a stick no wider than his thumb. That is where "rule of thumb" came from.......however, that is not allowed anymore, nor should it be......

Why would being gay be an affliction requiring correction?? It's not an illness, nor is it a disease.....it's just the way someone is......like being brown eyed, black, etc......that is the way they are.....

No but they have to being to produce their own. I think a child needs a mother and a father. It is very important to their life and how sucessful they will be in life.

Marriage does NOT determine parental qualities. You are either a good parent or a bad parent, not who you marry or who you can or can't marry. Your parental qualities come from within.

You can't teach gay. You can't catch gay. You can't force gay on someone. You are either gay or you are not.

Actually, in regards to your statement about how successful children will be in life based on their parents.... if that was the case, I would choose gay parents. Because I would be guranteed to live in a fantastic house in the best part of town. I would be guranteed the finest education that could be provided. I would be guranteed a social and culture education that is second to none with summer spent in Europe, Spain, and around the world. I would be guranteed manners and social graces taught to me that are second to none. I would be Julia Childs, The Fab 5, Armani, Jim Thompson, Al Greenspan (minus the looks) all rolled into one. I would excel at any sport that I ever put my mind to and on my 16th birthday, viola' instant 8 pack of abs without juicing.

when we started with legal gay marriage in amsterdam for a while in central amsterdam more gays than straights married. it attracted them. now you dont really notice it
