I did not call you names, I just described the thoughts you have put out here. I am sorry if you don't like being called liberal, but that's what your views are.

I don't mind being called conservative, that' exactly what I am.

Why haven't you renouced your faith? You already said you don't believe the Bible is the word of God. It sounds to me like you have already renounced it, just for some reason don't want to admit it to yourself.

Well, the title you chose to use sounded kind of snotty and I felt like you were trying to start a name calling fest.....you weren't then, so fine....

I didn't say that I didn't believe the Bible is the word of God, but I do acknowledge it is written by mortal men who may have taken liberties with it......I won't profess to say I have any idea what the word of God is, it's not for me to know.....God will tell me his word when I see Him for myself in Heaven......

I don't believe in organized religion.....so I don't want to box myself into "Catholic" "Methodist" etc......I don't believe in mortal men telling me how I should live when they themselves sin more than I do......I just try to live a decent, good life and be the best person I can be.....

And I can be "liberal" or "conservative" depending on the topic......I kinda have my own way on things.....

While that may be true for now, the times are rapidly changing. For example, in 1991, men of color made up 31% of those infected with AIDS. In 1998, that number jumped to 52%. I think that in the most recent study, close to 40% of those who said they had AIDS were heterosexual (around 420k homosexual, 137k heterosexual). These numbers, too, have jumped remarkably in the past 10 years.

She was baptized Catholic, raised Catholic, hence she is a Catholic who apparently has no problem with gay marriage.
