2 gas stations in my city are currently in the middle of a gas war. They are
right across the street from each other. One just had a grand opening, so
to draw customers they opened with gas @ $2.45 (normal around here is
about 2.75).
So of course the gas station across the street has to compete. This was
yesterday, I drove by today after leaving the gym and saw it was all the
way down to $2.15. There was pretty long line of cars and police directing
traffic. Some people were getting pissed, atmosphere was kinda tense.
Anyway I only had to wait about 30 minutes to fill up and saved about $15
topping her off. Those gas station owners are pretty stupid. Why not make
a deal with each other instead of raping themselves on profits......
