It's covered in the video in my second post. Yes, videos from Netflix on your Xbox.

Nice, I didn't watch the video originally. But I did now. Looks like microsoft is really trying step up their game. I wonder if it will come to a point where they have a blu ray add on so you can watch blu ray dvds since HD has gone the way of the dinosaur.

I don't know anyone who went after they made it 90% smaller and made it into a boring business conference.

I was just looking forward to the new trailers and reviews.

Dork here :)

Microsoft's biggest announcement was probably copping Sony's formerly exclusive FF XIII. Netflix was cool but I thought they already had a massive Tv/movie streaming service with Xbox Live.

Nintendo was disappointing all around. Mostly bragging about how they're outselling the competition yet offering very little outside the casual gaming audience. Where are all the cool third party updates to titles we all used to love? Not to mention first party treasures like F-Zero, or Starfox.

Sony basically had a "bear with us" tone to their presentation, although they also announced a streaming TV/movie service that was made available that same day. How this helps their Bluray disc agenda is beyond me though.
In the end their presentation was the most reassuring, as they've always been on the cutting edge in the past and the trend seems to be continuing with the PS3. Microsoft's Xbox 360 is only outselling it by roughly 25% with a year headstart, and unless they go out of business I see Sony narrowing the gap further and further as time goes on. They simply had this generation planned out better than Microsoft.

I think the Netflix deal is a big boost for the "general" market, the Final fantasy was for the hardcore gamer market.
