Camping and shit.. outdoors crap.. all that.

That's pretty much all you do.. right?

You'd have a field day in my basement. Before my modern life took over I was big into that...I have about 5 tents of various sizes and uses, 6 packs, a ton of climbing gear, stuff for canoeing.. just an abosolute assload of stuff for going out into the wilderness.

I only use it for my annual float trips now.

But all the stuff I have isn't built for casual camping, it's all hard core stuff. Like ultra light pack tents, packs of various sizes - all top manufactures - some for rock climbing, 6 sets of climbing rigs... for bolted or free routes...

Just about anything you need for floats...

I loved climbing more than any of that.. I had the strength/body type for it.. I was like a phucking monkey.

The only thing I could ever get hawt chics to do was floating... ha.. that' all I do now.

LOL... I am a slave to hawt vagina.

i've only climbed with ropes a few times
i thought i'd be naturally good cause i can do a lot of pullups and dips
but i got pwned by my outta-weight-shape hippy friends
hard sport
all my gear is backcountry stuff
northface sleeping bag
dana two maing tent
oteryck (sp) bag

this summer i'm starting to accumulate more car camping type of gear, for the times i can just drive and camp w.o having to hike
10 man tent
dual burner stove
graduation type of tent for hanging out under

If you start out with climbing by using your arm / upper body strength you'll fail.

You have to use your arms to balance your body weight over your legs, and use your legs as much as possible to ascend.... Obviously you still need upperbody strength, but as you found out - technique is key.

I used to love that shit. Now I am too affraid of maring up my hands and shit.. LOL.

What a pussy.

I ain't gay.

Why would I want to pay money to experience the wilderness from a ghetto perspective?
