I know that it is very important to cosume the proper amount of Calories at least 4000-5000 if you are a 200 pound person plus get the proper amount of proteins carbs fats and supplements, but after a certain point you can not stuff yourself with food any more. You start to get sick at the sight of chicken steak and other things. After a certain point your are not going to make any more gains whether you stuff in more food and train harder. We all react differently and for me after a certain amount of time my body says that is enough until I start my next cycle. I just do not see why every one thinks more foos is the key. the only thing I see more food doing is start to put fat on you.

If you aren't making progress, then you need MORE FOOD. People always think they are eating enough, or training properly. But half the time they aren't eating as much as they feel they are and their training is a mess.
Is your strength going up? If strength in the big lifts isn't going up (hey, those 2.5lbers and heavy collars count), or you aren't getting more reps, then you may need some rest.
Remember eat big, lift heavy and rest. If your strength isn't going up on deads, bench, squats, etc, and you are eating everything that's not nailed down, then you need to take a 'cruise'. Basically come off and regroup. Train to maintain what you gained until you've recovered.
