just write everything down you eat.....evcerything and everything u drink

very easy too do

why do you fuck it up? do you go out on weekends? whenever I go out I make sure and bring food with me like tuna, mrps, salad, wheat bread, whatever. That way I dont end up eating any fast food.
 
Exercise & stay busy constantly. This will also help you resist eating.

Don't be that guy that has a couch growing out of his ass.

How are you doing during the week? If you eat spot-on during the week you are pretty much at liberty to eat what you want on weekends. I hit exactly 30 clean meals during week, then when the weekend comes I'll have something crappy for at least 2 meals. I just make sure I throw in some protein shakes. My biggest problem on the weekend is not eating enough.
 
Is the "set point" theory a factual reality?
Anybody got studies de-bunking it?

I'm wondering if my body is trying to return to its set point.



ssme - I do ok on weekdays. The scheduled nature of work, and lack of booze, makes it much easier.

There were lots of threads about it on the Women's and Diet forums a few months ago - in particular showing that the set-point cannot be adjusted lower, but can be adjusted higher. :(

If anyone would know about studies de-bunking the theory, or showing that the set point can be lowered, it would be MS. Maybe you should post a thread about it on the Women's forum, with her name in the subject? I don't think she reads any other forums here.

That's it.......muscle sparing, but fat reducing, I ate bacon and eggs, steak with cheese and a ton of tuna mayonnaise today and the weight is melting off.

Try some drugs...like ECA, T-rex, L-rex.

Try that thing people do at the gym...called working out.

You need to make healhy food appetizing. I seriously don't want to eat any other way than I do now. I stir-fry almost everything, using various lower fat/sugar sauces. Right now I'm using a 4-peppercorn sauce which has 2 grams of fat per tbs. It tastes likes like I have gravy on every meal.

When I diet I eat constantly. I am never hungry. I usually lose 20-30 lbs in the spring eating a healthy well balanced diet and doing NO cardio. I'm an old fuck, so my metabolism isn't the quickest around either.

Extreme dieting is pure bullshit as far as I'm concerned. Most bb'inng diets are a joke, unless you're competing. I find it EASY to get lean. Hell, I've had to eat more on occasion to make sure I didn't get too lean. I'm natty and don't wanna lose too much muscle. I've had striations on my glutes from eating this way. Never measured my b/f, but it had to be <6%. I just cut out complex carbs in the evening.
