In pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and a generic name.
For example, Tylenol has a generic name of acetaminophen. Aleve is also called naproxen.
Amoxil has the generic equivalent of amoxicillin and Advil is also known as ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it was recently announced that it has settled on the generic name: mycoxafloppin. ibepokin.
Also considered were mycoxafailin, mydixadrupin, mydixarizin,
mydixadud, dixafix

isn't the generic name sidenfil citrate? just the name of the compound.. its the trade name.. or "brand" name that they make up...

How long did it take someone to think that up? I wonder if a bunch of stoned college students were sitting around in a dorm room just trying different names. Stoned pharmacy students no doubt. The surprising part is that someone bothered to commit it to paper.
