Someone explain the deal with squats. I warmed up the other day at 225, 10 reps. Feelin good. Up the weight to 275, 8 reps. No problem. 295. Never went beyond 295. 6 reps. Ok, felt pretty good, why not add 5 more pounds? - 300. 5 reps close to failure .... ok how the hell did I get 5 reps. Still feelin good so I add 5 pounds - 305, 5 reps near failure. What the fuck. Ok this must be my lucky day, why not add 10 more pounds, but this time I asked someone to spot me, just in case I die. 315, 5 reps!?! At this point I'm gettin' a little wiped, so I move on to leg presses. But what gets at me is I was able to do 315 @ 5 reps and 300 @ 5 reps both very close to failure. And they both felt heavy as shit when they were on my back. I mean, this never happens during dl's or bench. Tell me I'm not the only one this happens to .... I don't want to get to the point where I'm squatting 315 for 5 reps and 365 5 reps.....
