Not blaming you bro, but I hate hearing the term "Best in the business" EVERYBODY says that. How many damn "Best in the business" guys can there be? If you live in New York or Texas or Cali, The guy YOU have is the BEST. wtf???

That phrase is WAAAY overused. Again, not to piss you off bro, I feel for you and your family, but we get lied to all the time. That lawyer is probably having lunch RIGHT NOW with the Prosecuter. It`s just another case for him, he`s gotta pay his mortgage and boat payment. What the hell does he care. I`m not dogging all lawyers but I certainly stopped putting people on pedastals without them proving their worth to me first.

GET ANOTHER CONSULTATION. Just a consult and ask "What can be done?" Pay the guy a one time fee for peace of mind. I don`t know the laws but it does look like a lot of time for a first offense. Does this lawyer give a reason when he says "undefendable"?

No fam of his own, luckily. And you're right about the consult, I might do it myself...there are a couple of good lawyers at the Law school here, and the school of management...so it might be worth asking someone...the guys here usually do it for free...so I'm gonna look into it.

Of course this lawyer didn't say he was the best, but from the info out there, it does look like he's the best in the area...not best in the biz obviously...but there can't be too many good lawyers in NH.

Anyways, thanks for the help bro...I'm gonna look into getting him a consult, I'll even pay for the damn thing, cuz he's having money trouble ever since this happened.
