My Triple Threat is backordered and I had to have something to fill the void. I took a suggestion and went and bought some Human Development Technologies stuff, vanilla flavor.

HOLY FUCK IT TASTES LIKE METALLIC ASS!

How does a protein shake have a metallic taste? It comes in a plastic container and I stored it in a plastic bottle. And vanilla? I don't know what this tastes like but it's not vanilla. It's think, goes down like hell and I have to wash down every gulp with water.

Or did you get the mix of the proteins?? The 55 is whey only.

Is there Iron in it?..One protein shake i had tasted metallic because of the Iron in it.(it was meant to be chocolate flavour though)

if it tastes like pennies - then it is likely the iron.
people mistake the pennies taste for copper - but copper is tasteless - but the iron will trigger it.
much like when your mouth bleeds - the iron in the blood is what causes that taste.

I've been faithful to Triple Threat for months.... never ever ever ever going back. The day MassQuantities closes down is the day I stop drinking protein shakes.

I don't know why all of you guys seem to have trouble getting your orders. I ordered some on Thursday and got it yesterday afternoon. No hassle at all. mMMmmM yummy

I don't think it is the Whey 55 stuff. It's like Triple Threat, a mix of protein and carbs. I don't remember exactly though.

I'll choke down another one this afternoon but then I'm going to the store and buying bananas and strawberries to blend in. Maybe that will help.

It's harder to drink one of the than it is to do my 20 rep deadlifts.
