Damn company is the most shady piece of shit company with their contracts and deals. I got this thing that said "Pay 99 to renue yoiur membership - October 2002" I did this in september, cause taht is a good deal.

Enter today, go in there, scan my card, then the desk girla sks if Ive been paying my bills, I say what I did above. She calls some #, talks, blah blah blah, then informs me that I did not qualify for that deal (Why would I get it in the mail if I didn't qualify!!) and that my $99 only bought me 3 months and now i owe 38 for the month. WTF!!! Sons of bitches, Im fucking going somewhere else, damn place has screwed over plenty of poeple that I know as well

hate to admit, but I go to that gym, and the only reason I go there is because I have completed their 3 year deal and now I am only paying 10 bones a month as well as them being real close to my house. I would like to transfer to a 24hr or something.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again (and brag about it too). My gym kicks ass.

Porky's Gym I, located in Kendall, FL in the Hammocks shopping center.

Open 24 hours except holidays. Holiday gym go-ers can go to Porky's Gym II located only 10 minutes away.

$16 a month if you sign up for the entire year, $25 a month if you sign up for 3 months at a time, which is what I do, but will stop doing once my term is up. Laying down $189 for the whole year since I've been going there since '99 anyway.

I pity the fool who doesn't go to Porky's Gym.

Haha,. I found my reciept, what does it say? 1 YEAR RENEWAL!!! If they don't comply, I am going to flip the fuck out. Stupid Bastards, Im not paying 38 a month when I can go to a better gym geared towards bodybuilding and much better equipment for 20 a month. Basically what happened was they had a special $10 for ten days to try it out. I went over with board member Jae and when it came time to pay the $10, they told me that they didn't have change for a $20. So I used my card to pay the $10 and only worked out one day.

I never signed a contract.

I never had anything given to me.

Four months later I noticed I was getting billed for a membership each month. I called and bitched them out and it took about 5 days because they continuously told me that I had signed a contract. When I asked for them to fax it to me, they told me that it was in Orlando and it would take 2 weeks for them to get it? HUH WTF??? Eventually john937 suggested I contact the local authorities and I did, when they made the call over there because I was pressing for theft and forgery. The gym called me and told me that they had canceled my contract but there would be no reimbursement.

It finally ended with me getting a lawyer and going to small claims court.

This is happening to my friend right now, bought a summer membership, says it in the contract, manager told him he would not get billed after August, well they have been billing him and still are

I've never been to Bally's, but my boyfriend and I got an $800 4 year couples membership for 24 hour fitness back in 98 or so and now we pay $17 a month for both of us for life, so like $8.50 each, not a bad deal.

I was there in Orlando while living in that hell hole. My first day after joining this twig "manager" singles me out and walks up to me to say I need to leave as there is no personal training. I am with my than boyfriend and a friend of his. I flip on this guy and tell him how dare he walk up and bother me when all of these straight guys are training there wifes and girlfriends and he says nothing. I than out loud say this is my boyfriend and what you are doing is pure and simple discrimination. He stutters and is shocked than says somehing to the effect that my otomix shows are not officail gym shoes. I walk away to talk to the other manager in charge and my boyfriend stars on this guy saying you are lucky he did'nt kick your ass as he has a bad temper. (lol).

They hate serious lifters and people who actaully use there memberships. They ahte anybody who gets asked questions since there trainers are the best. I moved and got out of my contract as there is no Ballys within 50 miles. The secret is just that. Find a friend or relative in a small town and get a phone line installed in your name and tell them you are moving. Provide them a copy of the phone bill or electric bill etc. You can easily get an electric bill by requesting new service and after you have the statement with new service send it to Ballys and cancel the new service.

Damn I hate Bally's WITH A FUCKING PASSION!!!

They screwed with me sooo fucking bad. I went in and signed a 3 month contract. I even had the sales guy sign it and tell me the contract was specifically for 3 months only.

Well after the 3 months I got charged for an extra month. I had to walk in that place and tell them to take care of the situation and cancel it. Fucking prick sales guy came up and told me he would take care of things. So I left and sure enough next month I get charged for ANOTHER FUCKING MONTH!!! What the FUCK!!
I was so pissed and walked in there and made a HUGE FUCKING SCENE. People were looking at me like I was crazy yelling at the manager to cancel my fucking membership. He was explaining to me that something must have gone wrong BLAH BLAH. So I leave and sure enough I was charged for 2 more months. I just about had it and just went to Bally corporate and went up the chain till I could find someone to cancel my fucking membership and reimburse me the money. Well finally I get the money reimbursed but I still get charged a $50 cancellation fee.

FUCKING CROOKS!!!!

I had to get payback so the guy that sold me the 3 month membership I drove by his car and egged it with about 20 fucking eggs. I bet he was happy when he got off work LOL

Just like AA said. We went there for ONE day. And ended up with memberships. I was being told that I signed a contract in L.A. California and that is why my membership was higher than AA's.

Unlike AA, I had a freeze put on the draft after I noticed it for the first time and 3 months later, they were calling and wanting to know why I had not paid. I sent them a letter from my attorney and threatened them with legal action unless they refunded the first draft they took. They sent it back minus a 35 dollar processing fee. I refused the check and told them that I was turning the matter over to my attorney. They then sent me another check for $35.

Those managers were nothing but fat ass wetbacks. I don't mean chubby, but they were hideously 60 pounds overweight.

AA kept picking on the fat ass personal trainers that were over there attempting to give exercise advice. It was hilarious.

Now when I go to Ft. Lauderdale I either work out with AA at World Gym on Federal Hghwy. ($26 per month - no contract) or I work out in the full gym at the Le' Hermitage where my girlfriend has her place.
