F*** a summer cycle!

First one in 2 years (summer that is), and damn! Night sweats, elevated BP, test flu for 2 weeks, ass too sore to lay on a bench(fuckin prop). I said I'd never do another summer one again, but the timing and funds were right.

Throw in a holiday weekend and it's just too hard to stay strict. Hot days and cold beer just go so well together.

I'm actually considering quitting my cycle and waiting till fall.

What are your thoughts on summer cycles?

BTW I'm running a test only cycle. 1200mg to be exact, but hell :)

summer cycles are the shit !!! no better to time to have that all day pump and vascularity than the summer when you can be seen sans shirt !!!!
hung out the gv ranch pool all day yesterday, and even w/ a bit of bacne still, i was getting mad compliments from everyone.. one's guys wife even came over and was hitting on me till her husband came into our cabana and started a fight with us over her. (didnt know she was married) ..oh and he's like 6' 220ish, decent shape, but there were about 9 of us there (half on gear, half professional mma fighters), let's just say we changed his attitude real quick. then he bought us some drinks and we all one big happy !!

Sure those aspects are great, but my side effects/conflicts aren't really making it worth my while.
 
I have only done two other cycles before this one, and both were in winter.
that said i like the winter better, i am finding now with the current 2 week heat wave we have been having that its harder to eat when you are sweating like a dog, and my workouts at the end of a hot day working in the sun suck... its not too bad, but i do prefer winter time now that i tried summer.
 
i'm in 108 degree heat, i'm doing the tbol so no pain but i agree with lvtitan, i love the sun reflecting off my veins and being pumped in the summer. i don't have any sides though. you gotta do what makes you happy. my gym doesn't even have air conditioning so i have to say i feel you, how about cutting down a bit on the test to like 750mg your bp would be alot lower bro
 
In AZ here, its been f*cken hot.

I've been eating a lot though and gaining cause I stay inside all day, haha.

lol I spend weekends installing air conditioners on roof tops... prolly 130 easy out there for 10 hours each day.....




but man... hardrock maybe 1200 mg of test only cycle wasnt the best route?

why not lower the dose of test and add some anavar ,deca, winstrol, eq in there?
 
I hear ya dude.. I got so sick bulking in this heat I had to spend all my time in bed. This winter I'll go big but for the rest of the year it's moderate tren/test/winny.. anything that bloats you like 1200mg test aint gonna be fun in the sun :p
 
why bother "bulking" [lol] in the summer. if you are going to take loads of test, wait until the winter when you are going to be wearing lots of clothes and have a slim chance of being seen in public without a shirt on.

plus, like some have said, fuck holding all that water in the summer heat... gross

this time of year, when you will be going to the beach or pools or lakes or whatever, sort the diet out and avoid the drugs that make you hold water [IMO]...

i don't know about you guys, but i don't want people knowing i use! it's bad enough as it is; if i start strutting around the pool beet red with blood pressure and swollen as a tick it's just taking the piss a bit isn't it.

this whole notion of "bulking" or "cutting" is silly anyways... eat a proper diet, with increased calories if you are looking to add muscle, and keep your shape year round. it's not absolutely necessary to swell up red and fat to create an anabolic environment.

you are already putting enough stress on your body's systems as it is; adding all that fluid just increases the risks of having health problems later on.

when i hear or read someone's "Bulking Cycle" all i interpret that as an excuse to eat like a slob.

so yeah i "bulked" today actually

went to a cookout, ate:

hamburgers

salmon

tortellini pasta

nachos

cookies

coke (first soda in 2 years)

brownies

and lots of beer.

it's fucking hot in here.

Cause I get my test legally. Added some Syrus prop for the first few weeks. Will drop back to 1000mg in 2 weeks. Total cycle will be 12 weeks then back to HRT dose.

I don't really "bulk" anymore. Just try to eat right and up my cals when I up my dose.
 
Summer cycles are optimal for me cuz im off all summer... I like to split each of my muscles up on gear so I do morning cardio, Afternoon one muscle group and night another muscle group...

I'd have lowered the test, added some EQ or winny.... and use a painless brand of prop lol! At least cut your painful prop 50/50 with some painless brand!
 
I've just started a prop/winny cycle today... ALL my cycle have been in the winter.. so I'm excited to see how this goes...

Would EQ or winny / anavar had less water issues for his summer cycle? I agree on the painless prop.
 
Syrus protest - 100... I shot it last night around dinner time... so far so good... less pain then anything else I've used yet... I'm impressed...

Seeing what you eat there makes me sick. Havent had a meal like that in a few years. I definately would be taking it easy the next day. Anytime my diet goes even a little outtawack it effects my training the next day. that meal might effect me for a week
 
Another AZ peep in the hizouse;) Mesa has been hot as hell latley too. I just started trainning yesterday and my gym was 130 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering why it was so fucking hot in there. When I was done trainning they told me the air was broken:worried: I am trying to gain not loose weight.......:eek:
