Frostien

I got my frostien from our friends at the proteinfactory today. I was a bit disappointed. It really does not taste like frosting nor does it have the consistency of any frosting I ever had. It is sweet, though which is great because there is not any sweets to eat on a CKD. Its sweetened with splenda so 0carbs. Serving size is four tablespoons and there are seven servings per container.

Vanilla: Each serving has 19g protein and 28g fat. Protein is milk and whey protein and fats are from Adiotize and MCT

Choc: Each serving has 17g protein and 29g fat. Protein is milk and whey protein and fats are from Adiotize and MCT

The frostien is very dry and heavy, almost like a protein bar and requires copious amounts of water to get it down the hatch. I'm glad I tried it but I don't think I will order it again.

Thanks for the tip. Thats too bad its not good. I do like alot of there other products though.

I ordered some as well. I was a little skeptical, but I agree that their other products are quality. Maybe you'll get better results than you think. Keep us posted.
