Frontloading: A Discussion

Been on a few threads lately discussing frontloading. This technique seems to be one of the longest debated discussion in AAS. My opinion is that I would never frontload long acting ethers such as EQ but shorter acting compounds such as prop or cyp I would to elevate blood levels quickly.

What are your thoughts? What are you expiriences with the technique. This thread isn't a question but more of an information sharing exercise.

My Dr. is specializes in HRT. He started my dosage at 100mg cyp/wk with a front load of 200mg. He said it would raise my levels faster.

Front loading is fine if you already know how you're body reacts to the AS you're front loading. With Eq being the exception. Too much Eq at once is not a good idea.

you have said that it creates to many red blood cells too quickly, right??

Why doyou think that?


Is it really that much worse than Test at 1200??

Eq increases your RBC. That's one reason they give it race horses. And that's fine until you go too high and like two people on this board late last year, and others in the past, it could result in a trip to the ER because you start to panic because you can't breathe. Come to think of it the last post about that may have been on AF.

Thx Shadow. Saw your post, that was one of the reasons that I posted a specific FL thread. Wanted to generate discussion and learn more about it and it's effectivness.

You dont exceed the max dosage by frontloading as opposed to doing a straight 600 mg....

But, back when andy13 was posting, people would use 2gr for the first two weeks and then start 1gr a week. There are still people who try this.
I don't what happens when you go up slowly. Maybe the capillaries are better able to accomodate the "richer" blood if they have time to adjust to it.
Many people can frontload eq at crazy doses with no problem. Maybe they take ibuprophen every day, maybe their capillaries can just handle more. I am describing what happens to some people. Nothing is absolute in medicine.

I believe frontloading is best when using short cycles like 2-4 weeks. You want frontload to raise your levels quickly and to keep them elevated all the way through. For example test ent will stay in the sytem for 10-14 days. If you load this up on the first few days you will keep your blood levels high all the way through as you begin to lower your dosage. If ever thinking of doing a short cycle ie 4 weeks, then frontlaoding is a must.

I agree with Shadow and I understand the validity of Ulter's post. I've heard of people using 2 g's of EQ and having their RBC get too high. I think with normal doses of 4-600 mgs it won't be a problem. But as Ulter alluded to "nothing in medicine is absolute". I agree 100%.

I front loaded EQ weeks 1-2 and found that it kicked in wonderfully like Shadow had noted in a prior EQ post. I do know that EQ and RBC is an issue but it seems that the people who are having the problems are those that are front loading some pretty insane dosages, like makavelli just eluded to. I'm into week six of my cycle and am very pleased with the results.

Weeks 1-2 EQ 800 mg
Weeks 3-10 EQ 400 mg
Weeks 5-10 Winny Depot 50mg EOD

like I said, I'm in week six. The gains are far better than I anticipated. The only side is oily skin (Which I have had all my life, Ironically I have never had acne, ever. Go figuire !) So... the debate goes on

No. I said when your RBC count is too high (polycythemia) it clogs the capilllaries.

That is not saying oxygen rich blood makes it hard to breathe.
