After this weekend I have a whole new outlook on competing. I want to start a new journal to reflect my new attitude!

What I witnessed gave me the confidence I thought I was lacking to put the excuses aside and just do it... Win, lose or draw.. I will walk with my head high proud of my accomplishment.

Acutally not sure if I'd mentioned it but I screwed my knee up on Friday and had problems with it all weekend. Fluid pain and it would give out on me. I guess coupled with all the dancing etc.. etc.. Leaving the club Sat we turned around and headed back down the stairs.. when I twisted to turn.. my knee gave and I was going down so I braced myself with my right arm and immediately I felt pain. There are no external bruises so I'm thinking its a tendon or something.

Damn... I'm either getting old or I'm..... uh yea... getting old. :worried:

And Seems there is a trainer at my gym.. a friend of mines husband who was gonna compete but got injured and some other personal stuff getting in the way had to withdraw.. and.. he has trained a few girls before including his former wife who was a bb... Gonna try to arrange something this sunday for him to help me with my posing! ;)

He's always asking how my diet looks.. how's my training.. giving me tips here and there and every time I go in kinda sorta critques me a bit.. soooooooooo i'm hoping to be able to snag him to guide me thru this a bit.. beings hes there at the gym and had a few competitions under his belt..

This makes Frisky a happy woman!

What specifically are you trying to do betwee now and comp? Just cut fat? or try to add some muscle too?

Mainly Cut fat.. I've added a good amt of muscle and I'm very happy with most of my gains. I do need to work on my delts abit.. diet will make them more visible but I need them to be rounder. I'd like thicker traps and wider lats also.. hee hee.

I did quite a bit of ups and downs with diet .. gain and loss. Weight didn't change much from the beginning but I did go from 132 up to 140 and dropped Body fat in the process.. so I can't complain. my body seems to respond really good with what ever training i do.. be it heavy or light I still seem to see some growth. ;)

How many weeks out are you? I did change my goal to bb at 5 weeks out and we added the following supps:

- EFAs at all non-fish protein meals
- greens pills w/ each veggie + protein meal
- digestive enzymes w/ each veggie + protein meal (cuz broccoli gives me gas...)
- GNC Waterix pills - 1 pill after each protein meal -- helps to pull the water out from the protein meal

water retention still lingers a bit. I upped my water to 2+ gals yesterday and was literally in the bathroom every 10minutes.

What are you doing that last week?

*predicted day* LOL.. still not enough cals though will have to add in a 6th meal.

Still holding at 135 water finally flushed from my little high sodium intake for two day.. man was i miserable. Upper abs in pretty good.. lower abs showing a tiny bit of seperation.. just that damn trouble spot right around the belly button area.
