friggin' test amps !

Anyone tried popping open test enan. amps from galenika(250mgs)? these amps are a bitch ! these are so thick I ended up crushing one ! Anyone have a good technique opening these amps? Tried scoring them at the neck but can't hardly scratch them. Any suggestions?

Put it against some the hard. Take the back side of a hammer and hit the tip, it will break then, Dont hit it hard just tap it. Or use a vice.

if they are the same shape as sust amps, then score it with a sharp file (i use a serrated steak knife lol) and put a bic pen cap over the tip (fits just rite) and pop the shit off..clean break 9 outta 10 times

Gamebreaker beat me to it.Bic pen cap over the top,bottom half seized with a washcloth,use your thumb(hard against the Bic covered portion and snap it...I have had some real bitch-ass amps,and this even worked on them for me.

Thanks Game/Huck....I managed to get one opened successfully ! Silly me..trying to score the amp all the way around ! Didn't even need the bic cap !

well as unneccesary as it may be, i score it ALL the way around... I shattered my 1st amp and I WILL NEVER let that happen again. so i sit there and file it for 5 minutes all the way around and then I ever so gently flick it with my finger and "POP" it comes off clean each and every time! Patience, there is NO Hurry!
