well if he doesnt live in california he is fucked, in cali you can get off for a first offense.........my buddy got caught mailing 30lbs to alabama from LA and all he got was time in a half way house and probation.......not bad for 30lbs.

minimum is 5 years so with good behavior, I would guess he could be paroled in about 2 years or less.

I heard a story about a guy that killed 4 people while driving drunk, he got sentenced to 8 years for involuntary manslaughter, he got out in 2 1/2 years.

The actual sentence doesn't mean shit because of overcrowding.

Well it happened in Virginia Beach which is very conservative so they will try to get him for as much as possible.I dont think he has any fellonies but he has a whole buch of disorderly conducts & drunk in publics.

IF HE WAS IN LOUISIANA, WHICH HE IS NOT, ANYTHING UNDER 20LBS IS A MISDEMEANOR. BUT HE HAD 21LBS. I DONT KNOW THE LAW WHERE YOU ARE AT.
