i don't beleive in the superstitous stuff.

one time my truck mysteriously started running hot go i go home cool it down, everything felt cool sufficiently so i removed the radiator cap ,yep! It blew with a blast of hot water/antifreeze after refilling i searched for about an hr all over every crook & nanny the small areas that it could have landed but it mysteriously disappeared. so i have the parts store deliver another one , drove around hit pot holes, speed breakers hoping to reveal a cap falling out on the road, well after no avail i went about my business, i was close to closing time 6:00pm as i slowly pulled out from a customers house to head home i barely reached 30mph when there was the BAM BAM BAM! Chinl! BAMMM the motor started running like it was running on 2 cylinders, the radiator cap a fallen out from under the fan shroud tore the fan blades all to pieces,busted the shroud and radiator and bent the hood
the wound up costing $438.00

Shit I forgot it was friday 13th. I had a terrible day at work. Got into with 2 students. The night ended up great though. I was rode hard.
