FRANK ZANE SQUAT SYSTEM...Anyone have experience using it?????

punch

New member
Saw the product last year. I told my workout partner about it because, due to a severe rotator injury, can not squat. Does this piece of equipment seem solid. Any thoughts or experiences would be welcome. Its not cheap!!!!

Has anyone ever heard of this apperatus???? Dont any of you read the ads in the back of M & F or FLEX. HEHEHEHEH

I have not heard of it. But I'm not sure Frank Zane is really the best guy to look to on squats--the guy had pencil legs.

Umm, I think my gym has the "Frank Zane Leg blaster". The "harness" you put on your shoulders with plates to your sides and you hold a bar at waist level? I've never done it, but have been tempted just to see. When I see people doing it, it's like a squat motion with upport by hands. Usually women and weak old guys. But I did see one guy using it with plates stacked on both sides to the max!

I take it you know nothing about bodybuilding....

I know a decent amount about it; simply joking about zane being the least worthy Mr. O in history in my opinion. I like the Planet Muscle cover that says "that was then and this is now" with a picture of zane and then coleman. Zane looks like he is about as big as one of Coleman's arms. Don't really care to argue about it though--I really don't follow bodybuilding anymore.

I see...I just hate it when people think that only big guys know anything about bodybuilding...

I apologize if I offended you. My original comment was probably not the most appropriate for a forum. I really don't feel that strongly about it anyway.

I can appreciate smaller bodybuilders, but Mr. O is kind of like the WSM. There are no weightclasses. The guys that can still be that ripped and that huge are simply more freakish; and that is what the Mr. O contest tends to favor now days.
