Frank Shamrock. Underrated?

Does anyone else think he deserves to be ranked with other greats in his weight class? I admittedly have not kept up with his post ufc career, but he seems to be a world class fighter and for me would be the first pick to fight Anderson Silva. Anyone think he would have a chance?

Anyone has a chance, but the likelihood of winning against Silva is slim. I also think Frank runs his mouth a lot. As far as being ranked in the top ten....nah. Maybe top 15.

Frank is one of the original pioneers of cross-training in MMA and was successful during his first run as a MMA competitor. If you compare him to competitors today, he could not handle Renzo Gracie who is probably 10 to 15 pounds lighter. Cung Lee also recently TKOed Frank. I would consider him inferior to most of the top MMA fighters in his weight class today seeing as he has recent losses to fighters that aren't highly ranked.

don't know man. although it was an "illegal strike" frank shot enough chi out of his knee to penetrate renzo's head...make its way down his throat...and give him the black lung!haha..as far as cung..don't know what frank was thinking trying to stand with him. cung is legit though. no shame in that loss.
