well, there is nothing about you, the conversation, or the situation that she should have found particularly threatening or to give reason for being scared
with that in mind, i would say her nervousness is a good thing

u might have a chance, since she is nervous, going straight for the kill and asking her out may not work, she will probably just think of a lame excuse
but try to get to know her or get her to loosen up somehow
i don't have much advice about that thogh

I would think that would mean she's creeped out. But, I would go talk to her again and see how she reacts. Then just ask her out, if she says no, oh well... its no sweat off your sack. And since you already described her type she wouldnt spread gossip and I doubt anyone would ever find out about it.

ALRIGHT, seriously, if a girl seems nervous and laughs alot when she talks to you that's obviously a good thing right?

Maybe some girls should answer this one, what do you ladies think about this....I'm posting this primarily out of curiousity to see how other people interpret this, so women, what was this girl thinking about?

If she checked out your chest and arms that is probably a good thing.....

Nervous and laughing......that could mean anything. If a stranger walks up to you and starts asking personal questions you could be forgiven for being nervous. Did she play with her hair?? go for any physical contact.....no matter how fleeting??

Asking for a spot is a good idea. Just dont' try to show off by doing too much wieght, you will have to strain too much and you will get that taking-a-shit-after-I've-been-constipated-for-3-days look. Not too attractive.

it really sucks she's in the same gym as you. If you end up going on a date and it doesn’t workout, it will suck when you are both there.

the conversation looks good except for the ending... you have nothing to follow up with for a next conversation.

Think of a new plan to get to the point where you could ask her to go out for a cup of coffee with you the next time you talk to her.

I think if she was not interested in you she would have been more blunt rather than have nervous reactions and frequent laughter. At the least, even if she's not interested , she was obviously flattered.

seriously - you have talked to her once.
now when you see her again just catch her eye and smile.
if she isn't busy, walk up and say hi - if she is busy, do your workout and maybe she will come to you.

I know it's not rocket science but ol' frackal has always relied on other girls asking him out but the time for that has come to a conclusion...

As far as next time, I am going to say "Hi ****, how are you...? What are you working today?" <responese> then I'll say "I actually saw you at my work the other day." This is true, she was in there but I didnt talk to her and she didnt notice me as I was working with another customer.

Oh yeah, and I'm moving in 1 month, so it's do or die now.... lol

PS- I'm moving not far, but will be at a different gym.
