Hey everyone! I just hit some major PR's tonight on the bench press. The first PR was 275 for an easy 12, Small PR since 11 and 3/4 was my best. I was only supposed to do 8 reps as part of the warm-up but it felt so light I just kept going. Then I hit 315 for 6.5 reps, got pissed hit it again got 315 for 7 reps,last rep I screamed it out. Huge PR, 315 for 5 and 3/4 was my best before. Then I hit 325 for 5 reps. I believe 2 reps was my best with that weight before. Then I went for 335,and got it for
3.5 reps, 1 rep was my previous best. First time I repped 335 and it felt super light today. Even after all the sets I did. I then attempted 370 for the fuck of it and only got it half way. Didnt care since my focus was reps. ThanX for all the inspiration everyone, it makes a huge difference!
Heres the routine as I remember it (4 hours) May have forgotten a few sets:
135x20 Warm-up
225X10 Warm-up
275x12 Warm-up (Tiny PR)
315x6.5 (PR)
315x7 (Better PR)
325x5 (PR)
335x3.5 (PR)
335x2.5(Still a PR)
370 (failed)
300x6
225x19
Rack Lockouts also But was weak as fuck!! haha
