Hi, I'm pretty new here, and this is a long read. However, you might find it interesting if you have a minute.
I recently got in touch with needtogetaas about some lingering puberty gyno I've had since I was 11 (13 years; tough to believe more than 1/2 my life). For the last 5 days I have been on 5 pumps am/pm of Formastanozol, and my life has changed dramatically.
I'm not talking about the gyno, which seems to be getting softer/maybe smaller (time will tell).
Since puberty, I have had trouble waking in the morning; even a week ago I would sleep past noon if I didn't set an alarm. Sometimes, even if I DID set an alarm. I have taken all sorts of sleep aids: melatonin, Ambien, Lunesta, Trazedone, warm milk...... Most of these were effective helping me sleep, but none helped remove the veritable blanket of grogginess and fatigue I felt every morning.
For the record, I am not a lazy person. I work hard at everything I do, often single-minded to the point of missing meals and completely losing track of the hour in my work. Through college I had to stay up late into the night in order to make up for my lack of mornings. When it came down to it, I could set an alarm and force myself out of bed if there was great need. However, this felt more difficult than the fifth rep of your 5rm squat.. no exaggeration. I was/am self-conscious of my inability to wake, but no matter what time I went to bed, waking has always been extremely difficult.
Enter Formastanozol. Sleep is not the reason I began taking forma. I didn't even CONSIDER sleep - I was thinking about my puberty gyno, period. However, for the past 4 mornings I have woken up BEFORE MY ALARM. Maybe not a big deal for some people... but I am 100% serious when I say I have not woken before my alarm once in the past 10 years.
Last night I went to bed at 11:30, setting my alarm for 8am. Actually, setting several alarms around 8am, because one is usually not enough. I woke up at 7:30, before any alarms.
Perhaps I was experiencing some sort of hormone imbalance; I don't know. What I do know is that for the first time in memory I am awake and alert in the morning... something that I've never experienced.
THANK YOU needtogetaas, mrsupps, ef. Even if my gyno never clears (and I don't doubt that it will, given time and protocol), simply using Formastanozol for a few days has made me a believer.
