Forearms????

I am sure someone has experienced this before -- Whenever I am doing curls or something of that sort that include gripping the barbell -- whenever I let go -- there is a pretty intense pain in my forearms -- what is this caused by? Anything to prevent it? Thanks..
 
Do you have a separate forearm workout at the end of your arms day? I think your forearms are somewhat cramping up because im assuming you curl a decent weight and if your forearms are weak or very lacking then your gunna feel it. My suggestion would be to do forearms for a lil bit after each arm workout even if its just 1-2 exercizes
 
Yes I have experience the same problem. And I have found that I only get the pain when I release the dumbell/barbell really fast. Next time you're doing curls or whatever it may be that causes the pain, instead of Letting go of the bar quick, slowly release the bar and that is what helped for me.

Yeah I found that out too -- haha -- it still hurts though -- sometimes even when I am in the motion of curling -- one remedy to it is to get forearm wraps -- that helps a lot actually -- im going to buy 2 asap... try that
