Forcing Reps while on 5x5

how many of you guys do forced reps? me and my partner are doing them on isolation lifts on occasion. we're doing 5x5. our rep sceme for isolation lifts is 10, 8, 5-6, increasing weight each set. i ilke the way this feels much better than doing 2 sets of 10, and so does he. we're actually able to hit fatigue on every set. a lot of our isolation lifts are going up too, which is good.

every now and then one of us just can't do the set, so the other will force the reps. i know there's some programs that call for lots of heavy negatives and forced reps. anyway, is this a good thing that we're forcing reps or is it a bad thing?

while forcing reps today on our last set of preacher curl, we were completely hysterical at my inability to curl up a 35lb db. i was so fatigued i could barely do a slow negative with it. it was good for a laugh, i think we needed it.

forced reps - good or bad? it's not every exercise, just some.
