how did you deal with it? have u corrected it and if you did how?
Im just curious, im dominant on my right side and all my muscle, grip, etc is stronger and bigger how would one correct this?

I have had the same question for a while now. My right arm has always been about 1/4 to 1/2 inch bigger and I always wondered how to correct it. I mean if you're training all parts the same then I don't see how. For me it's even more a question of arms vs. the rest of my body. I have always felt like my arms should be another 2 inches to be in proprtion with the rest of me, but I certainly don't want to stop training everything but arms until they catch up. I am currently at 230lbs, 6', 12%, but arms are stuck around 18" and 17 3/4" for the longest time. I was considering changing to one of the posted routines like 5x5's or maybe ever that hst program but everything else is growing fine so I hate to lose ground.

Easy to correct provided no past injury that could be inhibiting neural impulses.

1st analyze & correct your posture - many athletes tend to be dominant on one side leading to faulty aligment which can entrap nerves, or lead to reciprocal inhibition allowing the antagonist muscle to become weak and experience less growth.

If you balance out o.k then do 1 maintanance set for the larger/stronger side & 2-3 sets for the small/weak side untill it catches up - that's your unilateral training.

it is natural to have 1arm sligthly larger etc. it is very rare to be exactly the same on each side

Hmmm...work the weaker side more than the stronger side. I can't see any other logical conclusion, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist.

Though the problem with doing more work on one side rather than the other is it could only really work if you could isolate the muscle you wana build. Other wise you might end up with one shoulder wider than the other too.

You can't completely correct it,but what you can do is focus on that side while training to give the weaker side more effort until it catches up,thats how i did it!
