For those on HRT Injections...

What is your total T just before your next injection?

My first bloodwork since starting cyp injections came back....Been on 5 weeks...Total T just prior to next poke was around 515. Doc said this is a little high; he said I'm probably peaking at between 1100 and 1300 a couple days after injections. But the good news is that he's gonna keep me at the current dosage and not lower for the time being.

Blood counts were right on, hematocrit was normal...The only thing that's a little fucked up is the good cholesterol (HDL)...dropped from 37 (which was already low) to 27...told me to eat more fish.

Those are strong t levels for HRT. I wouldnt complain.

Mine are usually in the 400s

Have no idea, 200 test c, are you simply trying to maintain test levels, or would you like to gain muscle, In your avatar you look pretty good and pretty young, too young for hrt.

before i started it I was at 280 or so (21 years old )..

got tested when my dose was a little higher @ 916.. I'm sure its significantly higher now.. I have my Quest Diagnostics sheet here to go bring in for more lab results.. I'll do it sometime this week.

That's mainenance??? Holy crap! Well, yes, I would definitely grow on maintenace like that. I need to pick my "maintenance" test up a little

Thanks bro...30 here. Made alot of progress in the past two months. The reason I fell into HRT was because of low energy and low sex drive. I'd like to keep building on this for sure.

Doc wants to ween me off HRT after 8-12 months, do a round of HCG and see how I recover. My T prior to starting HRT wasn't awful - 420ng/dL, and the lab's lower limit for "normal" was 400.

Get to a good doc (urologist or endocrinologist) who works with HRT. He'll do the bloodwork, and see where you're at.

One piece of advice, if you go: Don't let the doc talk you into gels, patches, creams, ass pellets (yup, they exist!) or gum - you want injections only! Nothing better than US pharma grade T, espeically when it's covered by insurance

Your 916 reading was just prior to an injection?

Bro, HRT is for life. Not cycled. 420ng is not awful, not greast, but not horrible. True, healthy hrt is usually around 100mg/wk of Test Cyp. Many do more like a cc of enan and call it hrt, (generally through mail order clinics). Or guys just "pushing the envelope" and calling it hrt. Can it be done in a healthy way, yes. But most bros taking more than 100mg/wk are not covering all their bases and being heathy.

I take 100mg/wk and a little hcg 2x/wk and my total test has always been 900-1200ng. I always test within a day of my shot...
