for the 5x5 what is better

Raping every set or Sticking with same weighs ??

right now im Sticking with same weighs every sets I think it's better cause your lifiting heavier than starting low and get high...

I am right? let me know and Correct it.

Will i get more MASS with ramping ....?

sticking with the same weight gives you more strength and strength endurence,ramping would help put some mass on but i would go heavy then go down in weight.but when i've done 5x5 or 3x3 i used the same weight never ramped it.for adding mass i just do 1x8,1x6 (2x6-8) useing positive failure.hope that helps
 
just to be sure, which "5x5" are you refering to? alot of members here mean bill starr's intermediate or advanced program when they speak of 5x5. i'm not sure what you are doing but if memory serves me right you do your own 5x5 split.

anyway - if you read madcows site you'd know that you NEED to ramp weights every week and that given a caloric surplus in diet, you WILL grow. why complicate things?
