Its real easy to complain about whats wrong with things, its much tougher to fix it... If half of you did 1/10 as many constructive things as you spend around here whining about how the government is always wrong, or how they are taking advantage of everyone, I wonder if any of you could even make a difference?

SV, the first step to any change is through discontent, there would be no reason for change if people were not dissatisfied.

In my experience, those who criticize others who are voicing their discontent are doing so to protect their perception of the world, and fighting the ideas that may make them look more closely and re-evaluate their surroundings. Men do not wish to be informed that they are wrong about their beliefs, they will fight tooth and nail to validate what they know is wrong, simply because it is what they know.

The world is so fucked up that you cant change the big shit! The stench of it reaches to the high heavens. You could waste your life trying to change it but you would be better served to bitch about it while enjoying your life. Honestly that may seem like a bad attitude but it is true. How could you change the way humans behave? Greed,lust,ego,sloth,did I mention greed?- these things are the root of our worlds evil. Oh and I dont believe in God or the Devil either. 2Thick is just stating that the world sucks in some ways. Not like he can run out and "fix" it. Sure, you can vote this way or that but you aren't changing the fundamental fuckedupedness(new word hoo-ray!) of things.
