I was just going to post this as there being a big surpise comming up that would shock everyone, becuase I heard it as an "unoficial rumor" but now as usual things leak to the internet... but it look as if Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Hulk Hogan have signed with the WWF. I know this is off topic, but I see a few wrestling posts here and there so I figured I would make one too.:p

From iowrestling.com:

Both Kevin Nash and Scott Hall have completed negotiations with the World Wrestling Federation, and terms have been in agreement.
Sources say that upon their returns to the WWF, Nash and Hall will be brought together once again by Hulk Hogan. As a result of this, the nWo will most likely be reformed in the World Wrestling Federation.

Nash and Hall won't be on television until after the Royal Rumble, and Hogan will possibly be joining them on or around Wrestlemania X-8.

Hall will work fewer days than Nash, so that Hall can spend more time with his family.

It is said that all three men; Hogan, Nash, and Hall, are all completely aware that they will be receiving huge backstage heat and that they may not be welcome in the eyes of many people in the company.

The WWF's next Pay-Per-View event after the Royal Rumble is entitled "No Way Out". Could we see the nWo re-formation at No Way Out (NWO)? It could be just a coincidence, or the WWF could have it planned that way.

Cool. More entertaining drama. I just can''t figure out what the deal is with all the "WHAT" chanting nonsence from the audience. Fucks up good shit talking , IMO.

motherfuckers..i wanna see wrestling again..what channel can i watch it on here in europe..somebody help me out

yeah i got a digital satelite dish. give me a channel that sends over here and ill frigging buy the channel just to see it...i used to watch WcW on TNT, but now i cant find that channel anymore.

WCW is gone. now you should look for TNN (? it's a channel) . keep bumping this thread or create a new one. there should be a way for you to catch the sex and violence we in the north america enjoy and cherish.

Ok, who wants to bet Xpac will join and they will bring HBK out of retirement to "manage" them? will HHH join them?

Can you see the WWF side of Stone Cold, Angle, and Golddust trying to stop them?

I hate to say this but HHH looks like a shriveled up Synthonol Prune now! But at least he as a good retirement plan by banging the Boss'es daughter!

Even if you don'T like Hogan or Hall or Nash, you got to admit it will create something entertaining and contreversial. I always enjoy the return of great names. If the nWo reforms it will drop a bomb! There is so many wrestling stories to make; I just want to hear that Jimmy Hendrix music again and see Hogan appear. I think it's the best thing for Hogan to finish his carrer with the WWF and become the champ one last time! I want to go at Wrestlemania but I don't know if I'll go in Toronto or in Montreal for Raw is War and Smackdown in Ottawa. For sure, I'll go to two events. It will be hot!

I think this is the worst idea in history, just let the old people go away forever. Hogan was boring at the end of WCW and Nash says the stupidest things and is totally unbearable to watch. Yeah you know you have a cool angle when Nash is pretending to get drunk out of an unmarked cup. God I can't stand him at all. And anyone that thinks Scott Hall is sexy needs to open their fucking eyes.

Does anyone else see this as a disaster for the WWF?? Man, why do you think WCW went down the tubes?? well, it's because Hogan and co. The only saving grace to this MAY be that there are already alot of big names in the WWF. So Hogan and Nash can't just come in and expect to just win EVERY FUCKING TIME. If I start to see big names who have put in their dues only to have to job out to those fucking geriatrics, I will quit wrestling. I think the reformation of the NWO is a TERRIBLE idea. It's been played out. Now all the WWF needs is Goldberg to come in and run up a 200-0 record and we've got the making of a MASSIVE DISASTER. I think the wwf already has too much talent than they know what to do with. There's going to be ALOT of talented young guys leaving, this could be just what Hart's federation needs. He's going to get ALOT of good young guys who have wwf experience.

Man! First of all, the WWF has only three good main eventers: HHH, the rock and Austin. They won't make Jericho, Angle or RVD main eventers in no time. Those guys have bright future but they will have to continue and make their way before reaching the spot. I know Hogan was kind of boring at the end with the WCW but the WWF knows what to do with them and his return will create a lot of exicitement. The WWF needs some good bad guys! I think the WWF has never been that hot; since the beginning of the year 2002, everything seems to click and Wrestlemania this year is going to be fucking huge! New big names will bring new story lines and rivalries. We could be tired of seeing the rock against jericho feud last three years... don'T you think? Oh, and the WWF won'T drop any of it'S good talented youngsters; they need them! because they will separate this year and make 2 different wrestling organisations. They will have eight pay-per-views each and the four big PPVs will be common. This is the reason why they bought some big names and why they return goldust, etc.

This is the latest rumor.

I still don't fucking get Goldberg, he's a bigger joke than the old guys.

plus he wasn't a team player. When the writers told him to lose, he'd get all upset. When they made him a heel, he's half ass it. Screw him. Him and Nash. And Hogan. Nash and Hogan can hardly move and are so boring to watch wrestle.

Goldberg is huge, Goldberg is popular but no technique whatsoever. All he has is raw power and in my book, this is not enough to compete in the WWF as a main eventer: see, just like the big show.

I think all these guys (Nash, Hall, Hogan, Goldberg, Steiner) would generate some excitement if they came on board the WWF. Whether or not they'd be successful over a long haul all depends on what they do with them.

Personally, I'm bored with all the angles right now. I'm glad SCSA's a face again, because he's much more entertaining. Jericho's heel turn doesn't interest me in the slightest, and neither does Undertaker's.

I think the WWF needs the next big thing, whatever that may be.

the problem is too much talent and they are going to try to fix it with more talent i guess. vince knows what he's doing so let's see how he plays it out...

The WWF was always more successful when they "created" characters and talent rather than purchasing it. The downfall of WCW was that they paid big bucks to purchase what the WWF had made. It took a while, but the WWF was able to compete with WCW by making a new batch of superstars (i.e. Stone Cold, Triple H, etc.).

Generally when the WWF has "purchased" talent it has failed (Big Show anyone).

Just my opinion

what vince will be paying all that money for is about a 2-3 month spike in ratings. After that, he's going to have 3-4 GROSSLY overpaid individuals who will not be worth 1/3 of what he's paying them. That will prompt alot of the promising younger guys to jump to greener pastures, trust me.....it'll happen. To bring in Hall and Nash and revive the outsiders....fine, I think that would be cool. But please leave Hogan out of it......he's terrible and everyone knows it. If the wwf wants to create more interest, start elevating the younger guys, get some of the guys up from OVW. Elevate Tazz for god fucking sakes......anything before bringing in the "i don't want to lose" assholes.

I agree. But what greener pastures are there for the younger guys?

2 problems:

1: There are no greener pastures anymore. There could be in the coming months/years, but not right now. The WWF is the big leagues, period.

2: The younger talent simply does not generate the excitement and the ratings right off the bat that a returning veteran does. The trick is to find the right mix, and I think Vince's problem is that he has too much young talent and not enough spots to work with them all enough.

I still think Vince needs to recreate WCW as a separate promotion, let it run 2 shows a week, separate PPV's, and let the 2 promotions interact OCCASIONALLY. Give WCW at least 2 years to grow and take off, and I think wrestling as a whole will be much improved.

True. Look at Slaughter and the Dudleys the other night. The people went nuts for it. Problem is like BPB said, it's always short-lived.

Did Slaughter return to the ring and I missed it? Damn...I've been a fan of Sgt. Slaughter since the GI Joe days.

Of course, he is kinda sad-looking these days... :(

Yeah. He and Saturn against the Dudleys. He looked terrible. But I have to say the old guy performed well. He's still pretty damn strong and reasonably mobile for his age. The fans ate it up.

That rocks. I've read he still wrestles on the indy circuit. Good that it helps keeps his skills sharp.

Well this just sucks, I don't mind them being int he wwf, but if they reform the NWO..well, I mean good god is that played out. It's been done with DX in thw wwf as well. We don't need another one of those "lets form our own little group and screw the boss and take over the federation" storylines. Hell it JUST happened with that whole wwf, wcw, ecw thing with heyman and steph and shane remember? Do we NEED to go through this again and again? Can the assface writers come up with anything else besides the turncoat angles? It's ridiculous. And yes, the wwf has far too much talent as it is, they need a 5 hour weekly show just to let loose what they have now.

I agree and disagree here. Yeah, the wwf is THE promotion right now, but with Harts promotion starting up....and sorely lacking in the numbers department, they'll be looking to pick up alot of young guys. I hear that Steiner is interested in the WWA, that would be pretty big. I disagree with the younger guys not generating enough excitement. Look what happens when they're properly pushed....RVD??? Rhino?? The Hardys/Edge&Christian??
There's alot of talent that is being severly underused......don't even get me started about Tazz!!

What you don'T understand is that they will have to split their talent in half! So, they will have to send half of their main eventers to the second organisation. They need big names to make the youngsters shine! We all woudn't give a damn if Tazz win against Tajiri; but if he does against Scott Hall, now it means something! Another example: if the WWF wants to rise Test, they will have to give him a winning streak but if Test does not win any important matches, he will still be considered a no card player. If the WWF brings back Kevin Nash and Test wins against him, we might take him a little more seriously. But the WWF is conscious they need some major impact players to make them play with the youngters. Now, the championships are changing hands too often, they don't mean as much. Who cares about Edge? But if Goldust enters a feud with him during a couple of months and they offer us something entertaining; we might remember Edge more than his lightning victory over Lance Storm. This is my point of view. You can't rise somebody unless you bring someone else down.

isn't it still just a rumor about them splitting the roster?? I don't think McMahon has a full sense of what he's going to do yet. What you're not taking into consideration is the baggage that comes along with Hall/Nash and ESPECIALLY Hogan. Do you really want to see Hollywood hold on to the belt for a 1.5 years?? I don't know, if it's handled well and these guys are put in their place fine....but as you yourself said, you have to bring someone else down to raise another up....and what killed WCW is that the top 5 or so guys REFUSED to EVER job!! They're just not team players. The WWF would be better off without them if they're going to come in and pull the same shit they did in WCW.

Well, the rumor has been confirmed by jim ross but they don't know exactly when they will split. And the WWF is really strict and Hogan ain't going to run the show like he did with the WCW. The WWF is not affraid of anybody and Vince Macmahon is really tough on buisness. And yes I would like to see someone run with the WWF championship for a year and a half... but not hogan; let'S say hmmm....HHH! I think it brings importance and creates some kind of dynastie. When we'll be older, we will be able to say to our little children that Triple H was the man at that time and defended the belt over a year. I would even like to see Angle or Booker T beat the IC title record of the Honky tonk man. We all like to see history happen!!

Ha ha, that one is good. Posse rules! But what about head cheesy. Steve blackman and Al snow could bring back a few midgets.

this is so true about getting people over. nash, hogan, and goldberg never jobbed for anyone. they hated to do that shit. You know who did put people over? Booker T. And he's made a fine transition to the WWF, although they make him look real stupid at times. Hall put people over IMO. But I don't see Hogan returning unless he gets gold around his waist. Screw him.

you really want to see one guy hold the belt for that long?? dude.....BOOOOOORRRRIIIIIINNNNNNG. I mean seriously, how annoying was it when Hogan had the belt for almost that long......nobody gave a rats ass about the championship belt, that's not good, really not good. Even the WWF is guilty of it. Stone Cold, Rock, and HHH have all had runs with the belt that lasted WAY too long. The glory days of the WWF were when they were behind WCW in the ratings. Anyone could come out on any given monday and win the belt. That was AWESOME!!! One of takers BEST championship runs was during this time. This was when he was still feuding with Sid, when Sid was still half way decent. Any week you could have had Hart, Sid, Stone Cold, Taker, HBK and maybe one or two other guys come out and compete for the belt and sometimes defeat the standing champion. Now the belt almost NEVER hands over on a Raw, that's very disappointing.

I'd still like to see some heels win without cheating. I've noticed that they are sorta doing that every now and then. But to win a title they still have to cheat.

Yeah, I noticed this too, very early on. No one in the Alliance could win clean, even SCSA. Got REALLY old. I think they let Angle win occasionally now without a chairshot or a run-in, don't they?

shit! It happened only once around that time that the championship would change hands on Raw. And by the way, Triple H's run with the title did only last six months and Triple H even won the WWF championship on Raw is war; don'T you remember? A little prior to that, mick foley won the WWF championship on Raw is war too! The title is changing hands too many times. Go to wwfhistory.com and you can see that all the WWF titles are changing really too fast; we don't even care who's the champs right now. Example: the tag team champs are Tazz and ....Spike Dudley; what a dumb team to wear the belts and they defeated the dudleys on Raw for the gold. When Hulk Hogan lost his title with the WCW, it started to fall. The people were hooked and Hogan was hard to beat; just like the new york Yankees. #That creates a dynastie. What does Wrestlemania mean if every title can change hands on each monday night. How many new hardcore champs or IC champs have we seen on Raw lately? A lot!! Pay-per-views have to be special because it happens once a month and the people are paying for it. I don't like to know that prince albert was an intercontinental champion. Even the godfather (who doesn't know how to wrestle by the way) had his run with the IC title. Kane lost his IC tilte less than one month after winning it. It sucks! You talked about the glory days of the WWF mentionning wrestlemania 13; the match between Sid and the undertaker. Well, in my opinion and in the opinion of almost everyone; it was one of the crapiest wrestlemania main event of all time. Two huge guys, not too many wrestling moves, slow action. If you want to talk about the glory days and PURE WRESTLING; just take a look at the two best technical wrestlers the WWF has ever had: Wrestlemania 10 the hitman Bret Hart against the rocket Owen Hart. They tell a story; they sell realisticly and the timing is perfect. I hope you have the ability to watch a wrestling match because most of the people don't. I watch the matches on a higher level becaue I know what is good and what is not as far as wrestling is concerned. This is what I have been taught, because many wrestlers today don't even know how to wrestle a good match. How many classics do we see today? Only two or three per year. Everything means nothing these days. At least, some guys like Triple H are still thinking buisness.
