the three that ACE found a couple years back to be most effective were the stability ball crunch, regular crunch and bicycle kick.
 
I've had great results with the following program

100 decline situps: switch between 0 weight and 25pds ex: 10@0, 10@25, 10@0..... without pausing

then over to cable rope ab crunches, 2 sets

hanging leg lifts, 2 sets

heavy side bends, 2 sets
