I am having a little trouble understanding why certain foods are chosen over others. For example why is brown rice prefered over white rice when the only difference on the label seems to be a few calories. Same goes with potatoes. Why do BB'ers choose sweet potatoes over regular ones ? The only difference between the 2 seems to be carbohydrates which I try to stay away from anyway, so I'd stick with the regular ones instead. If you guys can give me some opinions it would be appreciated.
