Well, as the ONLY cat 1 elite rider on this board, and having rode with Lance, George, Tyler and many many many other US cyclists I'll say this.
When I was 16, I was fed dbol by a trainer with every fresh bottle of water. Test is something that as a mountain climber is very important, and I would not doubt it that in training people still use, but during competitons... not so much. Remember these guys work like world cup players TIMES 20!!! Can you imagine doing 100+ hours of cardio in 22 days?
Cyclists dehydrated very easily too, and that messes with the endocrine systels, chasnging ph and all that crazy stuff. At one point i was told i was a diabetic lol what i am saying here is that cyclists blow stuff out of the system so fast it is amazing.
ps, lance has 'normal' test levels, they just happen to be reading pharmaceutical grade test in his system, not natty test.
pps, skinny or not, we generally have REALLY low bf% and don't need yohimburn dnp etc lol... but George Hincapie for example is 6'3" and 175lbs with maybe 7-8%. He misses a meal and he'll pass out. I was 6' and 185-190 in riding form with incredible definition on my legs, arms, and abs. I could also do 10 reps easy full length leg presses @ well over the 880 stack we had at the gym when I was 15 years old. Now I am old and fat
Who do I think dopes or did:
the entire sport of cycling.
