Flexing While Injecting???

Duh....

It's a matter of tension.

A needle inserted into RELAXED tissue goes in and out cleaner. Less pressure to bind needle, push back out injectant or blood, and LESS PAIN.

Flexing is like trying to pull a post-hole digger out of the ground with someone sqeezing the earth to increase tension. Also, your muscle can vary in position while the needle is in (bruising and pain), or it can cramp, twitch, or any number of other motions that create bruising and pain.

Relaxed is the best way to go. Would your GF, wife, or significant other tighten up that special oriface when you go to insert? No. They loosen up so it doesn't hurt.

Sorry for the graphic image.

listen to these guys bro.I flexed my delt while injecting yesterday cause that was the only way I could reach it....well this morning my left arm is immobilized and bruised too.

it is very likely you'll break the needle off especially if you're using a smaller gauged needle like a 25 g. ive bent them just from drawing up my shots. i will never take that chance. having to go to the emergency room for them to remove it. doesnt sound like fun to me

re

step one: inject syringe into bicep
step two: push whatever the fuck u have in there out of syringe
step three: SQUEEZE!!!!!!

go damn that would hurt:bawling:

Wether you flex or are limp, you have to keep that pose the whole time the needle is in you. If you noticed, that when you flex - your muscle moves below your skin, so if you flexed with a needle in you - either your skin will rip, or your muscle. Have it your way.
