Flax = Fear Factor LOL! I haven't tried it other than capsules. I have some hemp seed oil on the way so I'll add my review on it. Exercise and diet at the best ways to pump up your metabolism. The more muscle you have the higher your metabolism is. I wouldn't start messing with fat-burners. I don't use many suppliments so I really can't comment much on them either. You've probably heard this a million time but there really is no quick-fix.
Something I would suggest is maybe not using a tredmill for your cardio. You mentioned you have some knee issues so something like an elliptical machine may be better suited for you. How has your progress been in the 8 weeks of your program?
Well I am happy to say today when I weighed myself, I have now lost a total of 20 pounds! I am doing great. truth be told, the only cardio my doctor said I was allowed to do was the Bicycle. Any weight bearing excercise is bad for my knee. But I am looking at 6 weeks rehabilitation before I can even think to workout again, and I am trying to put off the surgery until my husband comes back from Iraq. So until then I am pushing myself to get trim and lean and mean! No fat burners for me either, I took Metabolife awhile back and I had a doctor's appt, and my pulse was at 126! Scared the crap out of me. I am excited by my progress and so are my friends. But I thought if there was something natural out there I could take, no harm no foul, you know? I am going swimming in the pool here at one of the gyms on post, and I am pretty pumped about it, since I walked 3.841 miles this morning in an hour. I want to run so bad! With my knee it is impossible though. The LCL tear and the MCL tear they are trying to fix with Physical therapy 2xper week. The ACL and Medial Miniscus have to be repaired with surgery. Hopefully orthoscopic. As far as my diet goes, I don't know what to do, and where to add more food, because I am also watching calories, as before I dieted I only ate once a day, so four times is good for me. Help!
Thanks for your support and help! Stephanie
