I'm actually hanging out with some spanish people from GU and
they always hit "Five" first. I have no idea why. They just like it.
Hitting VIP next week for sure.

VIP is good on Friday nites. 1223 is good on Saturday nites. Midtown has some bars/clubs that you may try like Vida or Ozio's. All near 18th/Conn Ave. Or could do the Georgetown thing, like Modern or Georgetownstation, 3rd Edition

If you want to head to the hood, go to Dream. Nice club, but in a hell hole area.

Ok...Dream is good....Platinum is decent but make sure you go on a crowded night....also it is not worth it if you are not in the VIP room...I used to like Zei...but I heard it has gone down hill....George Acosta use to spin there alot.....Anyway...3rd Edition is a bar not comparable to a club...to many chuggers for me...girls are fat sluts there.....

I also like Polly's since it was renovated. Lot of ho-bags there if that's your thing.

Calling 1223 a dive is a bit of a stretch. The DC Club scene though pales in comparison to real cities like NYC, Miami, Vegas.

But also.. DC Is not as much as a vacation spot as Miami, NYC is.. And also. Most people who go out in DC live in the farther out suburbs.. This is just my experience there

Not even in London, UK is it that expensive, Its 30 pounds($45) to get into the Ministry of Sound or Cream.

I've never seen anything for $70. It's only $40 to get into Twilo or a warehouse rave. Winter Music Conference is only like $50 bucks if I'm not mistaken.

I actually promoted the opening of that club years ago. I remember it as a pretty cool place to go. Kinda small though.

Try BUZZ or Cubix on Fri nights at NATION.

Dream is good but that gets old quick, i like Ozio, Red, Blue Room, VIP, and the "ORIGINAL BUZZ" before it got closed down 3 times...lol.
