I've thought about trying to make a piston engine just for the hell of it. But I was thinking about a one-piston science fair kinda thing. A bigger engine wouldn't fit in that tiny truntion.

It's a milling machine but instead of a traditional bridgeport-style mill, it's computer-controlled and the base of the table can swivel (like a hammock) and rotate. So you can make five-sided parts with 0.0002" precision.

Professionally, I'm going to prototype our new proximal humerus plate design this weekend. It's an internal fixation plate designed for people with fractures of their upper arm. These are particularly nasty fractures to heal and often have complications.

Totally should Plunk. That'd be cool. My father made a little steam engine. I can't remember if it's only one cylinder or two, but it works. IIRC like 200rpm max speed. Last I noticed it was still mounted on a work bench, but he's talking about mounting it in a go kart chassis with the bro.

I so envy the sort of aptitude you guys have. I got absolutely nothing like that.
