You need to wait at least another 4 years kid. I'm 24 and I'm just now learning about AAS. It's obvious from your post that you don't know "JACK SHIT" about training or nutrition. At your height and weight, I'd bust my ass in the gym from 3-5 days a week until you hit your early to mid 20's. You should be able to get your weight up to 250 solid or more in that amount of time without the use of AAS. Most highschool kids think they know about training when in reality they know very little. My highschool memories prove this to me over and over again. Focus on squats, learn to do them and do them well however you have to. If you have to use a wide stance with toes flared alot, GO FOR IT! Do what you gotta do to learn how to squat. Squats are the growing exercise(Super Squats). I would pick up the book Super Squats from Ironmind.com or something and seriously read it about 5x in a row. Learn to love squats. Squats will build your overall size and strength better than any other exercise besides heavy deadlifts which brings us to #2. Heavy deadlifts. Deadlifts will make you strong and powerful, period. YOU MUST DO SQUATS AND DEADLIFTS! Learn to deadlift with proper form. You are at your peak of natural hormone production right now. You probably spank off 3x a day which proves your hormones are raging. Use this to your advantage. Get real strong in the BASICS. These are, but not limited to: Squats, deadlifts, cleans, bench press, shoulder press, barbell row, chinups and pullups and pulldowns, dips and pushups, barbell curls, close grip bench, skullcrushers, wrist curls, shrugs, crunches, leg raises, weighted situps and sidebends, calf raises, leg press, leg curl adn that covers it mostly. Get strong in all these exercises and eat enough and you will get big. You may or may not look like a bodybuilder, but you will look big and strong AT LEAST. Drink a gallon of skim milk a day. EAt lots of beef, tuna, chicken, eggs, whole grain breads, pasta, potatoes, cheese, vegetables, some seasonal fruits and other wholesome foods. Try to eat the least amount of processed food you can, none being preferable. I RARELY eat any fast food and if I do it's usually Ivar's or Arby's, and after watching Super Size Me(a documentary about fast food and McDonald's) just a couple days ago I can safely I will never eat McDonlad's again, even though it happens to be my least fav fast food joint and I haven't eaten their in over a year. STAY AWAY from fast food. There's plenty of food you can make at home that tastes great. Sleep 8 or more hours every night. Sleep is crucial to gaining and maintaining good health. Use supplements sparingly. The only ones you should even bother with are a QUALITY multi-vitamin/mineral like GNC's Mega Men's, a cheap, quality whey blend powder like say Optimum Nutrition's 100% whey, and some basic creatine monohydrate powder. That plus a solid diet is all you need to gain maximally. Also, if you only plan on working out half-assed here and there for 4 weeks at a time, then don't expect to get much results or maintain them whether you use AAS or NOT. Hard training over time will yield you great results. People can and do make dramatic improvements in physique and strength in relatively short periods of time naturally, but no ones gets hella strong and muscular without alot of hard work and time with the iron so to speak. Even most genetic freaks train hard and take years to get freaky big, and even then it usually takes steroids to do so. Now I know you say you only want to gain 20 lbs, but to be honest that isn't much on a 6'4" frame because it will spread over your whole body for the most part. But if that's all you really want, then fine, do it naturally. You SERIOUSLY DO NOT WANT TO EXPERIECE POSSIBLE BAD SIDE EFFECTS OF IMPROPER AAS USE! Imagine sucking your own tits because you grew BOOBS off of a steroid that happens to aromatize in to estrogen which alot of them do, or because your estrogen levels were high and then you use an AAS that aggrivates prolactin levels which causes you to grow BOOBS too. You probably don't understand any of that. I remember thinking about taking AAS when I was 16 because I wanted to look like Arnold. Sorry, but there's only 1 Arnold, and Arnold also used copious amounts of steroids from what is rumored and so did all the other bodybuilders. Nowadays the bodybuilders make the guy's from the 60's and 70's usage look miniscule. Do not think that you NEED anabolic-androgenic steroids to get gains in muscle strength and size. You don't. If you want to be cut and VERY muscular then probably ya, but you can be solid and muscular, and all natural, and very strong without! Steroids can be used with minimal negative side effects and the gains can be retained, but you have to know what you're doing! If you have seriously made up your mind to use them, then wait until you're at least 21. If all fails and you ignore everyone here's advice, well then, don't say we didn't warn you when you start looking more like Pamela Anderson then Arnold :rolleyes: .

Yeah, squats and deadlifts kick ass! Seriously though young bro, you sound as if youve got awesome genetics already, if you train natural till 23 id imagine youd be one big Mo Fo. Then juice and you could probably hit 280lbs and the pro circuit! Do it now and you'll regret it.

First off.. your friends are FUCKING IDIOTS! They have no idea what they are doing. Its sad yet laughable. They don't know anything about the steroids they are recomending. Do what they say and you will get every major side effect. Hope your good at playing pool with rope.. cause your natural test levels will be dead after their ideas!
You need to check you diet. If you are so ready for AAS why are you carrying so much body fat?!!?!!??!?!!
Since I know your diet isn't in check it makes me wonder about your routine... you need to research that too!
I'll tell you what.. I'm 6'3" 240 at 9% body fat... I'm also 31. When I was your age I was still 6'3" but was 165. Your natural test levels are obviously high enough that you can make tremendous gains eating properly and working out properly! If you start AAS now you will never, ever be able to maintain a good physique. You will be one of those bald guys, with bitch tits, that walks around with their lats flared out, on AAS year round thinking their the shit, when they can no longer make gains! I went to school with a bunch of those guys. They all acted tough and they were big. Now, I am bigger, have all my hair and I continue to make gains. Them, fat... getting fatter.. waisting their lives away wishing they were cool like they were in High School.
Be smart. You already have a genetic edge with your size. Don't take AAS or prohormones... they will stunt your growth!
*The reason everyone is saying not to do it is because you will be screwing yourself! You will put a limit on your potential. We have all made mistakes someplace along the line. We don't want you to do the same! We can help you put on more size than you ever imagined with a proper diet and workout!! Just ask... we will all help my man! Bro, I'm the same age as you.

Knowledge is what seperates us both. People often mistake me for someone twice my age for all the shit I know. How do I know all this shit? I READ. I RESEARCH. Ten years down the line, I shall stand amongst the elite. But if you chose to juice now, you're fucked. :)
 
At 17-18, I was 6' and around 140lbs.
By 19, I was 6' and 195lbs.

over 50 lbs in about 16 months with only a minor increase in bodyfat.

Plus, just the bone structure of my shoulders got about 3 inches wider.



although, I feel that we are probably wasting our breath. but in any case, I have this to say...

wow, well since reading all yalls posts it's swayed my mind

i won't get into specifics with people i know who have taken gear, but the gains i with them were amazing for people who never worked out before. i don't know side effects they have and i don't think they will tell me they haven't had a hard on in months but from what i have heard can happen will make me delay my decision. i know at 17 my eating habbits are poor and NOW my workout schduel is sad because of not playing sports my senior year, but i'll go over my diet and draw out a routine right now that i'll start up soon and keep as natural as i can.

This kid doesn't realize that at 17, you're not as wide, strong or thick as you're gonna be in 3-6 years.

You ever drive by a highschool and see the kids walking around? Remember when you were in highschool and you thought you were big shit? Hell, highschool kids look exactly just like that to me now, KIDS. They are not fully matured physically or mentally, but when you're 17 you don't see that or realize it.
