First timer. Need advice.

That's going to be your call and depends on what you want to do. If you want a 6-pack you are going to need to do some cardio. If you want to squat 600lbs you are going to need to spend the time and energy working on squats.
 
choose one.. either asdfzxcv or aekdb's suggested routine.. and let us know.. both are very simple but result-oriented routines.. and one more thing.. u must swear by yourself to ONLY the oly bar and some DB's.. no shit like machines will be tolerated here.. good luck..
 
i decided that i just do a mix of everything basic like cardio/abs/lifting.. for a couple of weeks then focus on a specific workout plan. basically after the first 2 weeks, i will focus on muscle tone, btw im a basketball player. thanks
