First Job Interview tomorrow and Im kind of nervous. I will be nervous until I walk through the door for the interview.

I doubt I get due to the lack of experience I have and there is alot of competition in that area. But you never know what might happen. Praying that they will give me a shot.

I can tell you that we have turned people down that had more experience based on the person. Personality, willingness to learn...etc. In my line sometimes it is best not to get someone that is set in their ways and can better better trained the way you want them to be trained.
You don't ever know.

I will be right out of college so I am eager to get in the workplace and learn and have new fresh skills.

The interview is at 3 tomorrow after and I have to drive half-way across the state.

Why worry? You are interviewing them too.
Be receptive and enthusiastic about the job, but wiegh your opinions on the poeple you meet and those who interview you.

When I was working for Countrywide (which is as freaking dumbass corporate as anything I imagined) I had a meeting with my RVP because my manager said I was up for his position because he was leaving. This guy was new, and my previous RVP was awesome, had a great sense of humor, etc. I assumed this guy would be the same. Bad idea. So we went into the conference room, and he was acting like Lumberg, he totally changed from outside the room to in the room. He took a deep breath and told me to tell him what my typical day was like. I grinned and went into the Office Space 15 minutes late, etc spiel. He never saw the movie, didn't get the joke, and let me have it for 90 minutes, telling me how responsible I had to be, blah, blah, blah... I burned him a copy of the movie to watch on his way back home, but damn. Bad idea. I did get the job though.

Yeah been back about a week, but I am leaving Sat morning to go back to Montana, then over to Scotland off and on for around three months.

I just found out that there are a couple people that work in that department that are alumni of the college I am attending now and majored in the same are as me.
this should play in my favor

interesting thing is that i have had plenty jobs throughout the years but never had to interview for them. Small town and people knew who I was already and didnt need to see anyone else to fit the job description. Plus I ran my own landscaping business since I was 15.

GOOD LUCK! I just went for first interviews in 6 years last week. Took everyones advice and just tried to be myself. Got hired two days later for more than I originally was looking for.

dont slack, ideally you can get another offer somewhere else around the same time to try to play the 2 off each other.

I have a couple different options so far. I am also trying to focus on my current classes for graduating in May
