first cycle

I want to do 150 miiligrams of QV test prop eod for 5 weeks. this is my first cycle so I wanted to go light. Is this too light? Will I even see results in this short of a length. Any advice will help. Thanks

The typical answer you will get is test E for 10 weeks at a range of 250 to 500. While most would say 500, 250 will help you out depending on what goals you have. WHat are your stats, lifting history, diet, etc?
 
I am 5'9. I have been lifting for years very hard, on average 5 days a week and do 30 minutes of cardio every other day for 30 minutes. Lately I have been plateauing on gaining size and just need a little help. I have been the same sizze for about 6 months now without gaining much. I weigh 180 pounds with about 12-13 percent body fat. I have 16 inch arms and a 33 "waist. I eat very clean with very little fat (unless it is polyunsaturated or mono) and limit my carbs to only whole wheats. I eat about 200 grams of protein a day.

It sounds like you would have a good base. Test e would be a good choice to put on some mass and get some strength. How old r u? If you are not at least in your early to mid 20's no juice man! If you are, then like I said, test e for 10 weeks at 500 milligrams (2 sticks a week Mon and Thurs for example at 250 each) would be a good first cycle and that is what is usually suggested. You will need to read up and fully understand PCT as well as it is just as if not more important than your cycle. I would also look at www.spotinjections.com to see how and where to stick yourself. Screw the prop for the first cycle. Like Wayne said go with the test e or cypionate two injections weekly. Prop for 5 weeks for the first cycle is no good. Just make sure that you have your pct (post cycle therapy) on hand before you begin your cycle. You should do well if the stats you posted are correct. You also need to up your protein intake to around 400 grams a day.

i actually did a cycle very close to that for my first one it was 6 weeks at 300-400 mgs ew. gained 5 pounds strength through the rough. it depends on ur genetics as to how ur guna respond to it. everyone is going to say do the 500mgs of enth. for 10 weeks with a good pct.
i did what ur saying and gained 5 pounds saw how my body re-acted
then did the 500mgs enth. with a good pct gained 17 kept 12. very happy.

maybe doing a lil 6 weeker would give u a trial time to see how u will re-act to aas.(im happy i did, even though i had no bad sides) while some will argue your first cycle is when you can gain the most of that small mount of juice cause ur receptors are like little virgin pussies :p
 
Would it be good to throw in some deca for the whole ten weeks if I do enanthate for ten weeks, or should i just do enanthate by itself?
 
my first cycle was deca and enth...i never looked back..and i loved it...i had no probs with the deca...Just use no more then 300mg

That cycle is fine for a first timer :)
Although you might want to do it for 7-8 weeks instead of just 5, as 5 weeks is a bit short, IMO...
