ok first of all i never said take 250mg/wk of sust, i said test. and mr Praetorian you can keep reading all the info you want and spouting it out. my advise comes from research and trail and error. can a guy grow on 250mg/wk of sust....hell yes. i have seen it happen, shit it happened to me. it happens 20-25 pounds worth. no need to take 750mg/wk. you can save that for your 3rd or 4th cycle. i hit up sust eod i know how it works bro.

as for halotestin not being fine for a newbie? i dont see a problem with it, i have seen many fighters take this. I took it before my last show...didnt do shit to me. got the blood level checked

i said deca can shut you down....not will. seen that happen too.
 
jc21, if thats you in your avatar obviously you know what your doing. I also got great results from 250mg sust a week. As far as holotestin goes its garbage, and just because you don't notice sides right now doesn't mean that they won't manifest themselves later on in life. I know all about fighters taking halo because it makes you very aggresive. The risk to benifit ratio for halo is awful, and I would not recommend it to anyone with the exeption of a pro BB right before a show and even that is iffy.

JC, the question was what would be the best first cycle to do...that being said if you are going to take any anabolic whether it be test, sust or primo...the most intelligent way of cycling would be to maximize the benefit to risk ratio and get the hell off to normalize and move on...250 mg/week test may have given you growth ...i am not disputing that..however for many it is not worth the risk for the benefit...understandably everyone reacts differently to different compounds...what i prescribe does not come from casually reading posts or steroid articles...i have a solid 18 years in this game my friend! I have trained bodybuilders, fitness athletes, and powerlifters male and female. I have also competed many times myself qualifying to the national level ..as you would know it in the US My knowledge comes from experience my friend, from gut busting workouts, from research , from fellow competitors, from pofessional IFBB bodybuilders, and world class powerlifters. For your info stats 5'11 275 lbs at 10% offseason, 228 lbs 3-4 % precontest, best lifts 575 bench , 750 dead, 805 squat...not a powerlifter but getting big means getting strong..currenlty training for ...what u would know in the US as the Califonias... just an fyi..ignore it if u like!
As ofr the sust issue..i never recommended 750mg sust per week..again it doeasnt work that way...and doing 200 deca with or with out 250 mg test is taking a risk and limiting your gains...if people are interested in gaining 10-15 lbs..forget drugs and workout naturally..the idea behind "using" is to gain exceptional growth while limiting risk..and i always error on the lighter side.trusty me! Halo for UFC etc is fine if the user understands the consequences..as for bodybuilding it is a precontest drug ONLY...risks far outweight the benefits...if strength is utmost..then go with tren and winny far easier on your system...but then again that wasn't the issue! I only offer advice on things i have done myself...otherwise i would find it hypocritical..wouldn't you?
 
would suggest doing both the deca and sust together...run the deca 400 mg /week and run the sust 250mg m-w-f

ok maybe i am reading this wrong, but it looks to me that you are suggesting 750mg/wk. maybe you need to rephrase your sentances a little better.
he never said he was a bodybuilder, he said he wanted strength gains with little size, so i suggested halo. i was hasty and should have told him that i would only recommend it for pre contest and fighters.
I dont feel like 250mg/wk test and 300mg/wk of deca is a waste at all compared to the harm it will cause you. First off i dont think it will cause any harm. and I have had many friends that have hit up 3-4 cycles like that and gained 50 lbs.
you seem like you have good knowledge....just a difference of opinion, not everyone wants to be an ifbb pro.

We all have knowledge in certain areas..some of us more in some then others...the idea is to pool it for the advancement of all....I have made many mistakes in my years of training and ergogenic aid usage...i would try to save those who ask- time, money, and health by offering what advice i can that would benefit them the most. In no way would i ever suggest anything harmful to anyone without at least pointing out the risks involved. kudos bro...no hard feelings..just trying to help...i will have pics soon just to add credibility. No we dont all want to be IFBB pros..at one time i did..then i thought heck wouldnt it be nicer to make a decent living. do what i enjoy and be healthy and live to a ripe old age!!!
But its still fun to geta little crazy now and then!

250mg-375mg per week of sustanon is adequate for a first cycle IMO. If everything else is good you should keep about 15 lbs of muscle, as I did. Next cycle you could up the sust to 500mg/week and or add in something with a mild androgenic component like eq. Other than that I wouldn't suggest high dosages for steroid novices as I don't think it is required for good gains.

The only thing to I would point out is that frontloading AAS with long acting esters would be benificial to get blood levels up in a shorter amount of time.
