First cycle Help! (Anavar)

Hey everyone... I'm going to try and be completely descriptive as possible and make sure I don't leave out any information as to it will make it easier for me to achieve the help I need.

I am a 21 year old Male, 6'6 feet tall and about 205 pounds.

About 16 monthes ago I began a diet which consisted of about 1 hour of cardio a couple times a week while counting calories.... In about 3-4 monthes a dropped a solid 45 pounds

I stopped doing for about a year after that and started eating horrible food but was lucky only to gain a couple pounds (maybe 10 pounds max)

So I began eating super healthy and clean and made sure I did research on what I needed to eat for my body to get all the nutrients and everything it needed. So I started a new diet about 3 monthes ago and at the same time began lifting weights almost everyday same with cardio after weightlifting for about 30 minutes.

My regular day when I workout comes to about 2000 calories in total. 200 grams of protein (I take about 5-6 scoops of Whey Protein)forsure and all the healthy fats I get come from peanuts, Extra lean beef and other sources that are definitely healthy (i made sure of it) I also take Multi Vit's everyday and on top of that I take Fish Oil.

Since starting my diet I have lost a total of 25 pounds and achieved some pretty nice results.

I believe i have a decent amount of muscle for how long I have been working out but alot of unwanted fat that is taking its time and wants to hang around.

I did my research on Anavar and saw that its good for a fat loss diet (which i am currently on) and I amd wanting to keep whatever muscle i have while losing weight so i was thinking of adding it to my diet (prob start of at 30mg for a week then bring it up to 50 for the rest of the cycle) for about 50 days or so

Now I also heard that its good to do it if you have a low body fat...

So this being said and all the info I have given... Should I add it to my regiment and try it out?

Or is my body fat to high to even consider trying this stuff...?

Also lots of people are saying "you need pct" but im also hearing "var doesn't sut you down" which of the two

In NO WAY am I looking for the easy way out or a "get skinny quick" pill... I am serious about working out and have been for the last 3 monthes and plan on sticking to this diet this time around for years to come and want to achieve the greatest results my body and my mind can achieve and would appreciate the help along the way.

Anyways Im glad to be a part of this board and hopefully some of you guys will help me out
 
you should definitely not get into ass at only tree months of doing weightlifting and at 21 you are still very young to be juicing, try a couple of years before touching ass get a solid foundation first, as good as you think your diet is it's prolly not that good, post your diet in the diet forum and you'll see, i assure you that if you are serious as you say you are in a couple of years with a good diet and training routine you can put on a lot's of muscle and lower your bf with no ass.

Somone told me this: Bust your ass in the gym until you can no longer move 3-4 times a week and you'll see some serious shit...

Anyways I have the anavar... just still undecided on if i should take it...

does anyone know the approx. body fat % for me?
 
I understand what it's like to be excited to try aas, especially since you already have it. And also wanting motivation to keep going by seeing quick changes in your body, but honestly bro, you should do alot more research both theoretical (reading) and practical (training). From the looks of your post, it sounds like you are just doing cardio, and you just started training again 3 months ago?

At your age, and in your current condition, you really haven't done enough training. Like was already stated you should really get your diet dialed in and especially your training. You can't just take anavar and expect to get shredded. You have to know how to train, and understand the dedication and hard work it takes, with training, shopping, meal prep...etc. Of course, you'll see some results, but prob will be a waste. Gear gives you that extra edge but it really is all in the diet and training

yeah ok makes sense....

I truly do believe I do need more training

but as for nutrition i'm doing everything I can to eat the right food (even comes down to portioning extra lean ground beef in 100 g baggies so i dont need to keep portioning them when im hungry)

But I probably will not go into AAS teritory till i shred some more weight
 
Agree with burnthis...The more protien the more muscle you build ..the more fat you burn...it is all connected...train natural for at least a year..then see where you stand.

so how much protein should i get a day then?

before you take the plunge, try eating 410-500 grams of protien per day or at least 2 grams per pound of body weight. Get those complex carbs (oats ect..) up there, and good fats up considerably(olive oil, walnuts, almonds) Get your caliries up around 4-5000. 2000 calories and 200 grams of protien is what My wife will be doing on her coming cycle (if she decides to take the plunge). No dis intended there bro, but you eat like a bird.:rainbow:
The big thing, is these 6'0 tall 165 lb guys wanting do do cycles. We tell them all to get to 190-210 natty if you can. Being 6'6" and 205 basically is the same thing. You gotta eat brother. Like these guys said, If you build a bigger base first.....you will get much better results. plusyou will be used to eating the right way by then too. Ultimatley its your call. But i think you will be happier if you wait.
Dont drink a shitload of shakes either. Get as much real food as you can. If you must drink a few shakes daily then try to use big blast. Throw in creatine, and a shit tone of bcaa's.

Bro, your 6'6". 205 lb?? You gotta be a bean pole. No you wont get "fat" if you eat clean food. You might gain a little body fat but its nothing you cant cut later. I would think you would want to put on as much mass as possible. Your height and weight is about the equal of me when I was 170 lb at 6'0. I would never want to look like that again. How can you be losing weight at 205?

Like I said, If you eat clean and eat enough protien, do cardio, and lift correctly, you will still burn fat while growing. I say your not physically ready either way but I would be more apt to say go for it if you were lining up a test/deca/dbol cycle. If you use var now, you will be very unhappy with results. I would shelf the var for now and try something to put on some serious mass if your set on a cycle. Not that i'm saying you should, just saying.
If you dont have any joint issues keeping you from lifting heavy then start. just do heavy compound movements ie: squats, deads, chins, BB or DB press, bent over rows, dips ect....dont worry about the cutsie stuff.

what i was thiking of doing was a couple monthes of losing weight then doing a bulking diet.... but maybe i'll just up the cals now and work myself silly
 
Don't be scared to eat bro. If you are eating clean and you're training hard, you won't get fat. I eat WAY more when I'm training than when I'm not. I'm insatiable when im working out hard. You might gain weight on the scale, by adding muscle and losing fat, but you will look better. And the more lean mass you have the more it takes for your body to sustain so you will be burning more calories while doing nothing. You gotta get out of your head and listen to the advice you are getting here.

Now, that being said, I think that 4-5000 calories might be extreme, I know it would be for me, but I'm 5'10" 220lbs

Yeah i eat nothing but clean food....

Might put me behind in the wallet though :S

so should i maybe eat like...3500 hundred cals a day to start off?....
 
Also where your at right now....stop worrying about the scale. Worry about the mirror. Dont get caught up in pounds. just eat like a horse and lift. Dont forget to sleep enough.


also im assuming the bulking and losing weight will ONLY work if im doing aas (anavar) or am I mistaken?

right now in my mind im thinking "i can eat 4000 calories...lift weight and lose fat.... but do i need to be on ANAVAR to do that?... or is he just talking about lifting and bulking?"
 
You can do it WIHTOUT the anavar at this point. Trust me, I know all about wanting the results now, but, if you use the anavar now, you will probably be disappointed with the results, then when you are in physical shape to really take advantage of anavar, you will be skeptical to throw money at it, considering how "poorly" it helped you now.

No lose fat, you need to build muscle. 6'6, 205lbs. You can build a ton of muscle in the next year completely natty and transform your body.

Seems like Burnthis is basically saying in a nutshell- "Forget the Anavar, if you are deadset on doing something, anavar is not what you need. Start eating like a horse, everyday, watching your protein in a 2g per lb(at least) setting, and just work the hell out. Push yourself everyday. Don't leave the gym with energy."

What weight lifting routine are you on? You said you want to see results quickly to keep you motivated. Look up the 5x5 program. Madcow 5x5 With a program like this, you will see results quickly. You can do wonders with this program, giving where you are with your lifting history

Also, Fitday Check out this website as well, it will really help you keep your nutrient breakdowns for your dieting goals.

Hmmmm this is nuts! I'm totally looking at my diet completely different now....

Yeah I have decided to wait on the anavar for a couple monthes....

But lets say I DO choose to bulk up.... will my STOMACH fat go away???

My exercise right now usually goes the follows

Day 1: Arms
Day 2: Legs
Day 3: Back
Day 4: Shoulders
Day 5: Rest
Back to day 1

Right now I'm trying to to HIGH reps just to burn and slim down
