First Bike question!

Hey guys just letting you know i live in AUSTRALIA so we can only have bikes that have no more then 150kw/TONNE.

Which would be a better bike Aprilia RS125 v Suzuki SV650S.

a 125cc 2-stroke vs a 650cc v-twin...for a road bike? uhhhh, i'm going with the 650cc v-twin. the aprilia is just a glorified pit-bike...for goofing around on...plus, i'll bet it's expensive as hell.

the 650cc v-twin in the sv produces smooth, tractable power...great first road bike, that would give you years of dependable service.

TBh the arpilia rs125 is cheaper down here a ninja650rl/sv650s are like $6000 +
aprilia can be picked up for less than $4,500
I thought i read a few reviews that the RS 125 would b a little faster, considering its like 80kg lighter.

it's a sport bike with a tiny 125cc engine...it's a toy...plus 2-strokes require a lot more maintenance...i owned a number of them (motocross bikes) back in the day...lots of wrenching to keep them running properly...top end and bottom end needs redone once in a while (rings, bearings, clean up the cylinder, etc.)...a 4-stroke, v-twin on the other hand will just about run forever.

125cc? I had a 250cc when I was 11 years old.

By green machine i assume you mean the kwakaaa?? I was gonna get the kawaka 650rl, but its hella expensive, cant pik one up under 7 grand
